Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Milk Bottle Monday

Yesterday I had just gotten back from my walk when we had the freezing rain start that was predicted.
Happy I got to walk before it started.
We missed church though but again happy that we were able to watch on line.

It warmed up during the night and rained so this morning it was just wet and cloudy, no rain.
It was 37 degrees and no wind.
Morning Walk Steps 10,605

Didn't see anyone else out walking again and nothing going on around town.
As I walked around town I stopped at the library and dropped a DVD down the slot.
We've been watching a British cop show called London Kills which is pretty good.
Watched two seasons of it.

Walked up and down some side streets in town and both cemeteries and the ball park too.

☁️    🎄    🙂

We left this morning and drove down to LaVale for the day.
It was pretty foggy down that way.
Walked around and looked in a bunch of stores and even purchased some things so it was a productive shopping day.
Before arriving home we got the third season of London Kills from the library so we'll be watching that this evening and I'll knit while watching.

Milk Bottle Number 9
This is another quart sized one
Put milk in it but with no color to the bottle it didn't make it any easier to read the words on the bottle.

That's all I've got for today.
Happy Monday and thanks for stopping by.

...with embossed glass, perhaps it's an older one?

Enjoy seeing the milk bottles. I lost count though. It was a foggy rainy commute to work for me this morning. Janice

It made it to 45 degrees here, so all the snow has melted. It was very foggy here today.
We really like the British Detective shows so I'm saving the name of this one to try out.
I'm enjoying your milk bottles.

Hi Karen. Glad you got your walk in yesterday before the freezing rain stopped. I got your Christmas card today and the nice pamphlet about The Greatest Gift. Christ and His salvation is absolutely the greatest gift I have ever been given. I am so grateful that for my Christian faith and salvation. Have a good day. See you again tomorrow.

It was raining heavy early this morn, but the hard rain was soon over, and it rained very lightly and then quit completely...had approximately one moment of sunshine this evening...I am serious when I say I don't think it lasted that long.

I love all those old milk bottles.
