31 degrees this morning in town when I walked and it was calm.
Dark at first and then later there was some sun and clouds.
Morning Walk Steps 10,759
You may have noticed I cut my walk down to 10,000 steps - that has always been my goal and I usually end up increasing it as time goes by.
There is a very thin layer of ice on the pond but it will be gone by this afternoon because it was already 40 degrees at the end of my walk.
I walked straight through town and over to the industrial park and around in there.
Then it was around the ball park loop, up and down some side streets, and around one of the cemeteries.
Quiet around town and didn't see anyone else out and about.
Looks like someone cut 4 nice Christmas trees down.
Wonder if they plan on selling them.
⛅️ 🦃 🙂
We left for Walmart first thing this morning for food shopping and picked up those last minutes things for Thanksgiving.
Planned on stopping at the library to pick up a couple of DVD's (my books aren't there yet) but we were just a bit too early and the library wasn't open yet.
Opens at 11:00 Mon - Fri.
We unloaded the Jeep and while I put things away, Ken went to town to pick up his DVD's.
Had a do a load of laundry and the clothes had to dry on the rack inside.
Though it was warm enough to hang them outside, it turned cloudy and looked like rain and besides the deck still has snow all over it and that's where my clothes line is.
We finished the puzzle last night.
Wanted to have it done by Thanksgiving because we need the table!!! and we made it in plenty of time.🙂🧩
It's Milk Bottle Monday again and this is Number 6
Another quart size and the writing is the same on both sides.
Hope your Monday was a good one.
Thanks for stopping by
HappyK🙂

The latest jigsaw puzzle is so interesting with all the children's books!
What a fun puzzle!
I really like that puzzle! Bob and I were just setting up tables in our family room downstairs for Thanksgiving. (We use that area when we have a group) We decided to leave one up when the day is done so we can do puzzles down there this winter.
Nice milk bottle.
Do you ever use a dryer? And how long does it take for your clothes to dry in the house?
...Broughton Dairy, Marietta, Ohio or Charleston, West Virginia?
I like that milk bottle...not that I don't like them all...I guess I should say for some reason the writing/background of writing appeals to me.
That puzzle looks hard.
Hi Karen! I really love that puzzle with all the old vintage children's book covers. That is so cool! You and Ken are much faster at puzzles than I am. So glad you had a nice Monday. I hope you enjoy the rest of the week and have a very Happy Thanksgiving!
This puzzle is my favorite of all you have done. I guess because I like books so much. Very nice! We had a thin layer of ice in the birds' water two or three mornings ago. I think we will be seeing more of that this week. I haven't had to wear a heavy coat yet, but I think I need to get it ready.
This is a very cool puzzle! We have a lot, and have looked a t a lot, but never saw this one. Why did you cut your walk down...colder weather?
I love that puzzle. So have you cut back on your steps because of weather or because it's dark when you start out?
I have not done a jigsaw puzzle in such a long tome. Nice job getting it finished. #6 milk bottle....now you have me counting them. LOL Janice
Hello,
I like the view of the pond. The puzzle is a fun picture.
Take care, have a great day!
I had noticed you were walking down around 10,000 steps lately. Love that puzzle. I'm working on one right now, too, that I hope my Thanksgiving company help me finish. Have a good day!
Congrats on finishing your puzzle, it reminds me this is puzzle time of the year and I better get going on my 300 piece puzzles, my friend gave me a 350 piece on and it scares me.
Your puzzle is so cute and it seems like you zipped right through it.
Another nice milk bottle. So fun to see your collections.
The pond will begin to freeze soon. Cool puzzle, now on to the next one. :)
Your photo of the pond is lovely. I like the puzzle and wish I had the patience to finish one. I have started them, but then don't finish. I have been using my dryer more, since our weather has been so iffy. I prefer to line dry my clothes.
I do like the photograph of the pond you've shared here and that puzzle looks good.
All the best Jan
What a cool puzzle!
That looks like a fairly easy puzzle. I like puzzles with words on them.
