Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Milk Bottle Monday

31 degrees this morning in town when I walked and it was calm.
Dark at first and then later there was some sun and clouds.
Morning Walk Steps 10,759
You may have noticed I cut my walk down to 10,000 steps - that has always been my goal and I usually end up increasing it as time goes by.

There is a very thin layer of ice on the pond but it will be gone by this afternoon because it was already 40 degrees at the end of my walk.

I walked straight through town and over to the industrial park and around in there.
Then it was around the ball park loop, up and down some side streets, and around one of the cemeteries.

Quiet around town and didn't see anyone else out and about.

Looks like someone cut 4 nice Christmas trees down.
Wonder if they plan on selling them.

⛅️    🦃    🙂

We left for Walmart first thing this morning for food shopping and picked up those last minutes things for Thanksgiving.

Planned on stopping at the library to pick up a couple of DVD's (my books aren't there yet) but we were just a bit too early and the library wasn't open yet.
Opens at 11:00 Mon - Fri.
We unloaded the Jeep and while I put things away, Ken went to town to pick up his DVD's.

Had a do a load of laundry and the clothes had to dry on the rack inside.
Though it was warm enough to hang them outside, it turned cloudy and looked like rain and besides the deck still has snow all over it and that's where my clothes line is.

We finished the puzzle last night.
Wanted to have it done by Thanksgiving because we need the table!!! and we made it in plenty of time.🙂🧩

It's Milk Bottle Monday again and this is Number 6
Another quart size and the writing is the same on both sides.

Hope your Monday was a good one.
Thanks for stopping by

I really like that puzzle! Bob and I were just setting up tables in our family room downstairs for Thanksgiving. (We use that area when we have a group) We decided to leave one up when the day is done so we can do puzzles down there this winter.
Nice milk bottle.
Do you ever use a dryer? And how long does it take for your clothes to dry in the house?

...Broughton Dairy, Marietta, Ohio or Charleston, West Virginia?

I like that milk bottle...not that I don't like them all...I guess I should say for some reason the writing/background of writing appeals to me.
That puzzle looks hard.
