Pretty warm for this time of year but very nice.
It rained during the night but by morning it was 50 degrees, sunny, and a bit windy.
Had a nice walk around both of the cemeteries, once around the ball park, then through town a bit, around the ball park again and then back to the Jeep.
Pretty quiet around town but I did see RuthAnn walking her two dogs.

☀️ 🦃 🥾 🙂
Got the sheets washed this morning.
Pretty windy and had to untangle them from around the line a few times.
Got a text from Walmart saying my new eye glasses were ready for pickup.
So we drove down there and picked them up.
I like them but finding it hard to adjust to the bifocals.
It is just the first day though so will have to give it some time.
While we were there did a little food shopping as well.
Now we don't have to go tomorrow.
Just puttering about the house this afternoon.
It got too windy to go outside to pick up deadfall for my fence.
Supper tonight was sausage, pepper, and onions.
Another one of our favorites.

That's going to be all for today.
Hope your Monday was a good one and thanks so much for stopping by.

I remember when milk came in a bottle, my children don't have a clue! I also just got new glasses and having the same issue. It is getting better though. It's just waiting until the eyes adjust.
I am enjoying seeing your milk bottles. Did you get the no line bifocals? I have never had any that weren't no line and have never had problems. But think I have heard others that did not have the no line bifocals.
These are like the kinds of milk bottles that I remember. We used to have milk delivered! I love my bifocals! The worst kind to get used to are the graduated ones for different distances. They are awful, and one place here is giving them out regularly unless you request regular.
...I would think that Sanitary should be a given in the dairy business! My grandmothers had mailboxes built into their houses by the side door.
I hope you adjust to bifocals.
Many years ago now I swapped to varifocals and get on very well with them.
All the best Jan
I found your Milk Bottle Monday interesting today. The first one pictured from Sanitary Dairy especially caught my attention. I see it is from Johnstown, PA. I grew up on a dairy farm in Morgantown and our milk went to Sanitary Dairy in Morgantown. :)
The milk bottles are nice. I remember when we had a milkman - Borden’s milk. Mom would put out this little fan shaped card, letting him know what we needed. The milk was so good. We also used to have a bread man who came late afternoons. Colonial bread. All the moms would gather at the truck and get their bread or fresh rolls for dinner and the bread man would give us kids donut holes! LOL
Life was good back then! ❤️
As I know I've mentioned before that one of my husband's first jobs was that of a door-to-door milkman with glass bottles of course..
I hope you'll like your new glasses and that it won't take long until they feel "right".
I am all caught up on reading posts here, and glad to know that all is well with you. Your pictures are wonderful. I need to join a sewing club, but you are just a bit out of my range.
I had the same problem with bifocals. Hope they work out for you.
The milk bottles take me back to when I was a child and we had our milk delivered.
I could use the bifocals! I am enjoying your photos from your walk and the milk bottle collection. Take care, enjoy your day and the week ahead.
That's cool to have the measurements on one side of the milk bottle. Veterans day was pretty quiet around here, too.
I got bifocals years ago and had the same issue but it cleared up in no time. Love seeing the milk bottles.
Bifocals seem to require a bit of an adjustment period. Hope it won't be long until you're adjusted.
Another cute milk bottle. That Cup O Graph could come in handy.
Lovely bottles. It was in the mid 50's here today. Janice
I'm sure you'll get used to your new glasses in no time. Those bottles are so cool! My mom and dad had goats they milked for a time when I was little. They kept the milk in glass bottles. Your bottles made me remember that.
