Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Happy Sunday

🎶No One Ever Cared For Me Like Jesus🎶
C F Weigle

1. I would love to tell you
What I think of Jesus
Since I found in Him
A friend so strong and true
I would tell you how
He changed my life completely
He did something
That no other friend could do

Chorus

No one ever cared for me like Jesus
There's no other friend so kind as He
No one else could take the sin
And darkness from me
O how much He cared for me

2. All my life was full of sin
When Jesus found me
All my heart was full
Of misery and woe
Jesus placed His strong
And loving arms around me
And He led me in the way
I ought to go

3. Ev'ry day He comes to me
With new assurance
More and more I understand
His words of love
But I'll never know
Just why He came to save me
Till someday I see
His blessed face above

A Blessed Sunday to all

Karen, this is one of my favorite hymns...for truly no one ever has cared for us like Jesus does! Thank you for sharing it here.

As you know, I was away last week, but I just read about the baby blankets no longer being able to have the church's name and gospel tract attached to them. It makes me so sad that this stuff is coming so close to home. Has there been a decision made about what the next step will be? I know it's always been such a special time of fellowship when the women get together to work on the baby blankets.

Oh...and I wanted to let you know that we ended up not going to the MCC auction on Saturday either. The real feel that day was to be 86 and I just don't do well in the heat and humidity anymore.

So thankful that Jesus saved me from the kingdom of darkness into His beloved kingdom!
