Got to town and started walking 6:20.
It was 64 degrees and sunny.
Saw a couple of deer, a chipmunk, and a rabbit on my way to town.
I had walked back down the road to home and back to town first.
Walked around one of the cemeteries and was on my way to
the second cemetery when I got a text on my phone.
It was Jalene (Stitching friend and Farmer Marvin's wife)
sending me a picture with the words,
Good Morning.
Any interest in these?
I answered Yes please, and thank you.
Told her I was out walking and would she like me to come to the house
and get them.
I got a thumbs up so came back from the cemetery and walked up
her driveway.
Went around this old barn
and continued up her driveway to the house.
The driveway doesn't look steep in the picture but IT IS!!
This picture is taken from the porch.
After a short visit I headed back down with my goodies,
dropped them off at the Jeep and continued my walk.
I walked through town and over to the ball park, around there
a couple of times and that ended my walk.
Saw Rebecca out walking Leo.
John with Prim
and another man walking his dog.

Nice sunny day so got a couple of loads of laundry done.
I found what sounds like a good recipe for Pasta and Zucchini and
was going to make it for supper but didn't have fresh garlic or ricotta cheese.
When I get those items I'll make it, probably tomorrow.
If good, I'll share the recipe.
Finished reading the Tom Brokaw book.
It was a nice story about his family and I liked it,
but didn't think it was anything special.
Monday again so I'll show you where the Pink Peep has
gotten to this week.
Happy Monday and thanks for stopping by.

Those courgettes/zucchini look good :)
Nice to see where Pink Peep is this week.
All the best Jan
Oh...look at your rolling pin collection! I love it! I have a small collection too, but not quite as many as you. I like the container you have them in, too. Pink Peep looks adorable there!
Fun and unexpected excursions are the best! It’s zucchini season!
The Peep is getting ready to bake!!
Hi Karen. I agree with your about the Tom Brokaw book. Those are nice zucchini. It was nice of Jalene to share!
Hard to imagine such a lovely view from one's front porch!! What a blessing that would be:)
...the old barn is aged to perfection!
I love that barn! It's a beautiful view from the farm
Looking forward to hearing if your recipe turns out. :)
Thanks for the book report...I was afraid it would be so-so. At least it wasn't awful and now we know. I do so love that barn...and the house has a great view. How nice of her to text you about the vegies...
Nice addition to your walk to fetch those goodies. That Peep looks right at home with the rolling pins! Happy new week to you.
What beautiful house that is and the view from the porch is amazing. I've been meaning to get some zucchini but first I need to decide what I want to make with it...lol
Hello,
I love the barn and the pretty house, beautiful view too.
Cute photo of peep! Take care, enjoy your day!
It's nice getting fresh veggies from a friend. Enjoy!
Hope the recipe turns out good. I like your rolling pin collection!
Free zucchini sounds like a good deal Maybe not to everyone. Seems people either like it or definitely don't. None of my guys will eat it but the girls all do.
My plant has none big enough to use as yet.
It's nice to get free courgette. Anyway, it's a cozy blog. I'm glad you kept blogging. Are you happy with it too? ๐ฑ๐
