Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Pink Peep Monday

 A cloudy morning for walking.
It was 64 degrees and calm.
Was in town and started walking at 6:30.

Went around both cemeteries, the ball park, and all around town.

Little green apples.

As I walked passed the car dealer a man was looking around
at all the cars waiting for his truck to get serviced across the street.
I said Good Morning
and made a comment in passing, Looking for a new truck?
With that he started talking and gave me way to much information
all about his finances and why he couldn't get a new truck.
I didn't want to be rude by finally I had to say,
Well I'd better get going.

He was the only person I saw out this morning except for
someone fishing at the pond.

We drove to church and loaded up the church trailer with the
boxes of Romans books that we put together the last two months.
Paster Matt (Youth Pastor) was there to help load and with him
helping it was done in pretty fast.
Have the trailer in our driveway now and tomorrow will go and drop
them off and pick up another pallet of scriptures for us to put together.

We got some needed rain this afternoon.

Yesterday I took a few pictures of the fawn that visits us.
Mama is around too just not where I could get a picture.

This Monday Pink Peep is sitting here.
She did a little reading here this week. 🙂

Jalene had given me some more zucchini and yellow squash
and I sliced them up and roasted them in the oven.
Then we added them to pasta and sauce
and had that for supper.

That's it for this Monday.
Hope its a good one for you.
Thanks for stopping by,
happyone🙂

Diana - There are a couple of the ladies checking into some other ways to give out the blankets.  Next month we are meeting to see what they come up with.  We are all praying for this ministry to be able to continue.

So Pink Peep is a reader, just like her owner. 😊. Thank you for getting back with me about the blankets. I will be praying as well.

Hi Karen! I love that Pink Peep is sitting next to some a collection of Little Golden Books! I had so many of those that my mom bought me and read to me when I was little. I had them for many years and read them to my children too, but ultimately I got rid of them, and now wish that I had just a few of my favorites. Were the books in the picture yours when you were little, or books you had and read to your children? I hope your baby blanket ministry can continue in some form. See you again tomorrow!

It would be so much fun to have the fawn coming by. I would never tire of that.

That's a very nice collage of pictures of the fawn. It's getting quite long legs already!!

I've had customers like that who give way too much information.
How fun to watch that fawn.
Good to see that the pink peep likes to read as well.

Its been a long time since I have seen a green apple. My gramma B had them on her farm and the deer loved them. Speaking of deer we saw a doe and twin fawns yesterday on or travels. So nice to see them. Janice

My first time to meet Pink Peep!! The picture of the fawn could be a postcard. Does anyone send postcards anymore? Still, it's a pretty picture, brings a little peace to enjoy.
