Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Another church picture

To town and walking at 6:30.
Saw a couple of rabbits on my way to town.
Sunrise 7:11
The temperature was 34 degrees and very windy.
The kind of wind that pushes you along or makes you take a step back.
It was nice to walk in the sun once it came over the mountain.

Walked up and down the roads in town and then around the ball park loop.

Then it was over to the cemeteries and walked around both of them.

Passing the post office I saw Karen coming out of the building
and stopped for a little chat.
She keeps the post office clean and tidy for us. 🙂

People moved in the new white house this weekend.
Didn't see anyone out there but 2 cars were in the driveway and
they had Ohio license plates.

Found a penny in the street and yes, I do say,
Find a Penny
Pick it up
All day
have good luck.
I say that every time and whatever coin I find I just say that coin.

☀️  💨

First thing got the sheets washed and hung out to dry.

We went to church and loaded the trailer with the Roman's books
we all assembled last month.
Hooked up the trailer to the truck and came home with it.
On Wednesday we will go to Bedford, Pa and drop off the books
and pick up the next ones to get assembled.

Since we were at church I took a picture of the other side of our church
from yesterdays photo.

A couple of years ago we had an activity center built.

While we were out that way we stopped in at Lowe's and Walmart.

We got home and had a late lunch.
By that time I didn't feel like doing any housework so knitted.

That's all for today.
Happy Monday and thanks for stopping by.

Hello Karen. I've spent time catching up on all that you have been up to the last several days. Our grandson came to spend some time with us on Wednesday of last week and I didn't do blog reading. I can understand why the ladies at the library enjoyed the Welsh cookies. We enjoy those here too. Thank you for sharing the pictures of your church. And how wonderful that you were able to build a activities building beside it. Have a wonderful week leading up to Easter morning!

Love the sunshine!
I like seeing the pics of your church where you spend so much time! The activity center is a nice addition!

Hi Karen. Your church looks nice and wow what a nice, big activity center! Is that where you put the little books together? Glad you were able to walk even though it was windy. Now you will have some new people in your town to get to know. Have a good week!

I can imagine how quickly your laundry on the clothesline dried with the strong wind blowing. Maybe it wound the sheets around the line. I hope not because it's not easy untangling them.

Wonder why Lowe's and Wal-Mart are together so much of the time? It must be planned that way. This is the longest person shadow I have ever seen!

I do the same with coins that I find laying on the ground.
That looks like a nice size church. Nice to have a separate activity center right there too.

We could really use an activity center at our church but we don't have the land. That's a great service you do at your church.
