Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Measuring cups

21 degrees, calm, and clear.
At the end of my driveway a skunk lumbered across the street
and I saw 4 deer by the time I got to the main road.
In town and walking at 6:30 and sunrise was at 7:20.
Morning Walk Steps 13037

Walked through town and to the industrial park and walked around there.
Then around the ball park loop, through town and the cemetery up the hill.

Another sunny walk once the sun rose over the mountain.

Tractor bringing breakfast to the cows at the big barn.

These last few mornings have been great for walking.
Makes me happy for the whole day.

☀️    ❤️    😀

Another load of laundry but this time I hung the clothes inside.
Did a few more chores around the house.

After lunch we had an appointment to go to and stopped at the
library on the way home.
Picked up a book for me that was on on hold and a couple of DVD's.

Don't have a lot of measuring cups but they say if you have
three of something it is a collection.

I like these because the first one is 1 1/2 cups and it is good
for melting butter in the microwave.

That's all for today.
Thanks for stopping by.
Happy Tuesday

That blue sky is beautiful!
Seeing wildlife while walking is nice, but keep a distance from the skunk. :)
Nice measuring cup set!

I have nesting measuring cups. Those are cute. I hardly use them.

Oh boy, I finally am having a chance to sit down and get around to blogs. I really like those measuring cups. Hooray for good walking weather. I like that it is staying light later each day.

Beside measuring cups, they are little bowls! I melt butter in one like this. And I love that they have a pour spout!

Very unusual measuring cups. I noticed that only the 1 1/2 cup has a handle. That might make the others hard to hold for someone with arthritis. Nevertheless, they're cute!

Hi Karen. So glad you had a sunny day. That's a great set of measuring cups. I have several sets with one or two of the cups missing. They have disappeared who-knows-where over the years. I hope you have a good Thursday. It is pouring rain here tonight. See you tomorrow!

I have a set of measuring cups that has the extra big one like that. That big one is convenient.

Your morning walk sounds peaceful and full of nature's surprises, with the clear, calm weather setting a perfect stage. Encountering a skunk and four deer adds such a special touch to the start of your day. Starting your walk in the early hours, experiencing the town wake up, and witnessing the sunrise must have been serene. Your impressive step count of 13,037 reflects a substantial and varied route through town, the industrial park, the ball park loop, and the cemetery up the hill. It's wonderful that the sun shone brightly after its rise over the mountain, adding warmth to your journey. Love your first photo! Thanks for sharing your morning adventure!
