Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Skies, Psalm, and a Sign

 Happy Sunday
Picture taken earlier this week.

This morning it started out a little foggy.

🌤    🥾    🙂

📖  Psalm 37: 7 - 9  📖

Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him:
fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way,
because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

Cease from anger, and forsake wrath:
fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

For evildoers shall be cut off:
but those that wait upon the LORD,
they shall inherit the earth.

📖    📖

I've been walking past this sign since Easter
and every time I do I want to change the
HOPE
to
ETERNAL LIFE.

A Blessed Sunday to all.
Jesus Love You. ❤️

Ken is improving each day and now is mostly just tired.
I still don't have my energy back and will never again take my energy for granted!!

I don't think any of us can take our energy for granted, both my wife & I seem to be more tired than we were a few months ago but we get on with things. The Psalm rings very true. There are too many evil doers in this world we live

I love that scripture. I hope you and Ken are feeling a bit better and stronger every single day. Have a good week.

Stunning sky...makes a person stop...and realize, there is hope in the world!!!
Tiredness is one of the "main" symptoms of recovering. Just take each day to remain well! Over-doing may cause a relapse.

Very evocative skies.

For me the lingering effect was a cough.

A precious Psalm and lovely pictures.

Covid does sap your energy big time. My husband had minimal symptoms - I on the other hand was sick for 3 weeks. If your body is telling you to rest and sleep - you rest and sleep. It's the best way to get over it.

Beautiful skies today!
Yes, I think the sign needs to be changed too.

I like your idea for the change to the sign better than what is there now. I'm so glad to hear about Ken!

Lovely sky photos. And I, too, prefer Eternal Life.

So sorry to hear that Ken has the virus now. Make sure you're looking after yourself as well as Ken. This virus can last longer than we think. I hope you both recover fully soon.

I'm a sky watcher for sure. So much beauty in skies - sunsets, rainbows, clouds. I'm glad to hear that you and Ken are getting better. It takes some time. Have a blessed day.

Sky picture is amazing. You really captured it. Sorry to hear you're not feeling yourself with regards to energy etc. Wasn't aware you had been ill; perhaps I missed that post. Hope things improve for you each and everyday as well as for Ken. We recently drove back from Williamsburg and spent a fair amount of time on a Virginia State Road (instead of the Natl Highway), in the mountains and had a good amount of fog. It was so pretty and peaceful. It would be thick in some areas, then we round the mountain and the sun would be out. As time went on the sun cleared away the fog.

Thank you for your health report on Ken. Glad he is over the cold like symptoms.

Lack of energy!!!! No, never take ENERGY for granted.

Sad to say, but as we age, many things take a tole on our energy levels, which decrease with age anyway.

My husband has been suffering with an infected tooth, for days. Taking Pennicillin which makes anyone tired. Plus the pain. And not being able to "eat" things, because of not hitting the infected tooth.

It finally came out, last Thurs. Continue with another antibiotic, which has the same lack of energy effect. Plus can't eat usually, until "hole" heals up. Sighhhhh......

He is sooooooo tired of feeling weak!!!!!!

Never take for granted, your ability to have the pep, to do all the things you want to do!!!!!!!!!! -smile-

Having energy is a blessing we should never take for granted, we see that more and more after an illness and in just getting older. I don't mine the wrinkles and the grey hair, but the energy is a treasure that I hate seeing slip slowly away. You should tape a little message to that sign, you never know, it might touch just the right heart.
