Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Getting Better

I am much better and continue to improve,
but haven't been back to walking yet.
A picture from my last walk on Tuesday.

Ken thinks I shouldn't try to walk till Monday and I will
probably listen to him.

Thank you all for your well wishes and those prayers.
They certainly helped.

Ken has been taking good care of me.

I Sat around dozing a lot but today I'm up and about more
doing a few things.

Missed Blankets for Babies yesterday but today have started
making weave-its for the blanket for June.
Will just hand in two blankets next month.

Well just wanted to pop in and let you know how things are going.
Have a very happy Friday.

I think you're wise to rest for a while. I'm sure your body will tell you when you're fit enough to walk again. Hope you feel better soon.

Thank you so much for the update, I was worried about you. Great news!

I'm glad you're feeling better but you still need to rest. I found, that I can usually sleep off a virus. Just give in to the dozing...for a full-blown restful and recuperative sleep...

I am so, so glad to see this...I have been praying for you. I wanted to write but did not want you to feel obligated to respond. I think Ken is probably right...just let your body recover before trying to do too much. Or if you must walk, just a short one. Down to the end of your lane or around the trails.

I am so sorry to hear that you are sick. Just knew you were going to say. it's Covid. Glad it's not that. When you miss walking...we know you're really feeling bad. You take care. Glad you have Ken to take such good care of you too.

Glad hubby is taking good care of you. Just rest and enjoy being waited on. We women get that so seldom.

Soooo glad you are feeling better!!!!!!

Listen to Ken. Take the weekend off from walking/exercise.

Your body was fighting something, and it needs plenty of rest.

Be kind to it. :-)

Gentle hugs,

Many thanks for the update, pleased you are feeling better, but it may be an idea to take things slowly ... I think Ken has the right idea :)

Glad to hear it. Good advice from Ken on not walking for a few more days. No sense in risking a set back. And when you return, try to do less than your normal 6 miles. Let your body work back up slowly.
