Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A couple of bulls

This morning I was in town walking at 6:10.
It was a cloudy morning and 45 degrees.

Started my walk walking around both cemeteries
and then headed on over to the ball park and walked around there.

John was once again walking his dog and the same three
people were fishing around the pond.

Most of the bulls were still laying down on the hay
but these two were busy eating and posed for a picture.

When I got back by the Jeep I stopped to get the library book
and then walked over to the library and dropped it down the slot.

A couple of pretty blooms along the way.

Didn't quite make all 6 miles this morning but it was
a good walk at 4.7 miles.
I'll aim for a little over 5 miles tomorrow and then on to my usual
6 miles on Thursday.

☁️    🌸    🥾

After breakfast we left to go food shopping for the week
at the Shop and Save.

Did another load of laundry but since it was a cool,
cloudy day with a little mist once in a while
they had to get dried on the drying rack.

Did a few more house chores and then like yesterday
I read and knitted in the afternoon.

Thanks for visiting.
A happy Tuesday to you. 🤗

I don't think I've ever seen an Iris that had yellow and purple/blue blooms. It is beautiful.

When I see a rhododendron I always think of my dads house. He had huge ones growing in his front yard.

You'll be back up to speed soon, but don't push yourself too hard. I love that beautiful iris with its colorations of purple and yellow.

Nice of the bulls to pose for the photo.
Glad to hear that you are feeling better.
The flowers are so pretty. I grew that same iris at my last house.

Pretty walk - with everything blooming.

I really do like the bulls - so cute they are. Of course, I've always been a bovine lover. On the last night of our rodeo, a huge bull jumped into the audience - and ran off. He was captured sometime later but he had already knocked down 3 people. It rarely happens, but people are now calling to shut down the rodeo for good. The 3 people are fine - some bruising and soreness. They will be suing the Rodeo now.
