Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Monday

A dark start for walking this morning with the clocks changed.
It was 31 degrees.
Once the sun rose it was a mix of sun and clouds.

Wondered how it would be for walking in town but it was pretty good.
Some places not so good to walk.

And other places just fine.

The cemeteries and ball park were mostly snow and ice covered
so walked on the roads that were clear.

I saw 4 deer, 2 rabbits, and 2 Killdeer
but no people out this morning walking around.

Walked 6 miles

Ended up having a nice sunny day of 50 degrees making all the snow go away.
Nice enough to hang the sheets out on the line again this week.

Our church gives out Gospel Tracts.
They get shipped to our church in boxes.
We brought two boxes of them home to count them in groups of
10 and then put rubber bands around them.
Makes it easy for people to grab 10 at a time.
Each pile you see on the table is in a stack of 100.
We thought it would take long time but we got them all
done in 2 hours.

After I did that didn't feel like cleaning the bathroom so will get
that done tomorrow.

That's all for today.
Thanks for stopping by.
A happy Monday to you. ๐Ÿ™‚

You seem to have quite a bit of wildlife around there. That would make your walks so much more fun!

You and Ken are good workers. You get into the rhythm of the job. I'd hire you! ๐Ÿ˜Š

What a pretty view you had!

That was a nice bit of wildlife to see. And a job accomplished.

It seemed quite dark when I left for work this morning. I'm not a fan of the time change!
Glad you saw some wildlife. That's always fun!

We sure noticed the difference when we left for our walk. It was still dark. If there was any wildlife it was too dark to see it.

Dark here too this morning. I am not a big fan of driving to work in the dark, but in a few weeks it will be light again. The time change always makes me so tired. You and Ken are always busy doing such good things, like getting those gospel tracts ready to give out! Good for you. Do you carry the gospel tracts with you to give out to anyone any time? Glad you had another good day. See you tomorrow!

Leaving Nature's Time, you are back to darkness at the beginning of your walk. -sigh-

Do not like the look of that first road.

I love it... You didn't feel like cleaning the bathroom. Do it next day. Yes! :-)
