This morning it was 31 degrees when I left for my walk.
Driving to town I saw a few deer.
Walked in sunshine for a little while when it got light out
but then it was just cloudy.
Walked all over town, up and down the main street and side
streets, both cemeteries, and the ball park.
Remember when I posted all the pictures of the sheds around town?
This one didn't look long for this world.
Walking past it today I saw that it finally collapsed.
There is a lot in town that has been recently cleared
and looks like something is going to be built here.
Maybe a house?
(sorry for the blurry pictures but it wasn't quite light out yet)
I saw Joy walking down from the cemetery as I was walking up to it.
As usual we spoke a few words before continuing on.
She never said a word about the surprise gift she put next to the
door of my Jeep for me to find. 😊
Shelia was out running. Saw her just as I was leaving town in the Jeep.
Walked 6 miles
🌤 🎄 🙂 ☁️
Another Happy Snowman waving to all.
You can't help but smile as you walk by.
⛄️ ⛄️ ⛄️
When I got home I opened the gift that I assumed Joy left for me
and yes it was her.
The candle scent is sugared snickerdoodle
and it smells wonderful.
The note with it brought a tear to my eye.

Doing a few things around the house this morning when
David and Liz popped in for a little visit.
I love when they do that and it makes me happy all over again
that they live so close to us.
After lunch even though it was cloudy Ken and I went out
for a walk around Happy Trails.
It was 49 degrees.
There's Ken up ahead.
The finished puzzle.
No more puzzles now until after Christmas!!
I wouldn't mind living in this puzzle. 🙂
That's it for today.
Thanks for popping in for a visit.
A happy Wednesday to you. 🙂

...snickerdoodles, I haven't had one in year!
Oh, that note brought a tear to my eyes, too...I had done been crying over the story I gave a link to in my blog. I cry more over good stuff than sad/bad stuff. I love that puzzle...I am so wanting to start another one.
Oh, the snowmen just keep getting better. Love the one today. And also meant to say sad to see that shed fall down.
That is a beautiful puzzle and so nice of Joy to surprise you with a little gift! A nice candle is always lovely to make the house smell delicious! So glad that David and Liz live so close to you. What a lovey day you had. See you again tomorrow!
What a sweet gift from Joy!
Love the photo of Ken in the distance.
And the waving snowman is sweet greeting to all who pass by.
A very nice gift from Joy.
What a lovely puzzle that looks.
All the best Jan
Joy is living up to her name. That was a sweet note.
All things end, including rickety sheds.
I would live in that puzzle too.
sorry to see that shed fell down. I hate to see old buildings go.
That was so sweet of Joy!
That snowman makes me smile too.
You are an inspiration to many, I am sure…including me.
A surprise gift left beside your Jeep. What a sweet thing to do.
That old shed just collapsed into a heap. Guess it was time.
Another cute snowman. I keep seeing them in front of people's homes this year. More than any other year.
Did you push that shed down? Why?
God bless.
What a nice surprise gift, the candle scent sounds sweet.
Pretty puzzle, I love the snowman!
Take care, enjoy your day!
Another happy snowman.
The scene on your puzzle is so pretty. I wouldn't mind living there either.
What a sweet thing for Joy to do. I imagine you are an inspiration to all who see you each day and it was especially nice of her to acknowledge it. I know just reading about your walks has been a motivation to me.
It does look as though someone may be building a new house on that lot...it will be interesting to see what goes up there.
How nice of your walking buddy to give you the sweet note and Christmas gift:)
I do love that puzzle as well.
~Warm wishes.

That was sweet of Joy to leave the gift and note! Drop ins are a treat for sure. I also like when I spot our kids in a local shop! That is a very nice scene on that puzzle. Happy new day to you!
The shed didn't last very long after you took its photo.
What a sweet gift :)
A surprise gift. How delightful...
Sorry old shed... Gone...
Adorable snowman!
