Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Wednesday

60 degrees this morning while walking.
🌤 A mix of sun and clouds and a little windy.
A drive to town and

walked down 219 a ways back toward home,

then turned around and walked to town, and around town.

One of the bulls was out in the barn yard eating and another one
not in the picture was lying down.
Did you spot the white horse?

Didn't see anyone else out walking this morning,
which was surprising because it was so nice out.

Walked 6 miles

👟    👟

Garden Shed Number 9
Two of them in this yard which is right next to the ball park.
That little horse has been there ever since we moved here
8 years ago.  I keep waiting for someone to paint it.

🌼    🌼

Made chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast,
which is always a treat!

We didn't go to Dollar General on Sat so we went this morning
after breakfast.

Ken went outside when we got home and got a couple loads
of big rocks and placed them in the rockscape island.
I stayed in inside putting things away,
doing laundry, and made some
to go with the hotdogs for supper.

By then it was lunch time.
Never did get outside today.
Too much to do inside.

It got dark and very windy and some rain blew through
just before supper.

That's all I've got for today.
Thanks for stopping by.
A happy day to you. 🙂

I just love that first shot...it just calls one to see what is on down the road. I saw the horse, but not before you mentioned it. Sometimes I wonder about myself. I focus on one thing, in this case the bull, and completely miss something else.

...your first image with the rosey clouds over the barn is my favorite!

Nice pair of sheds. The white horse looks so little. Yum, macaroni salad.

Loving that first picture. That little horse by the sheds is so random, I guess they had no where else to put him.

Hello,
Love the first scene and photo! The pancakes do sound yummy.
It is amazing how fast the days go by, there is always something to do. Have a great day!

Is the white horse small ... or far away?

God bless.

Your walk was a good one today. Loved seeing what you saw. Perfect weather in the morning and a good rainfall while indoors doing chores ...yep, a good day!!

Hmmm...macaroni salad sounds good. I must check your recipe to see if it's like the one I use.

Someone should paint that horse white, like the little real one! -smile-

Wed. night we got lots and lots of rain and T-storms! And one biggggg lightening strike, which took out power, for a few minutes. Happily it came back on!!!!

I have the same question as Victor. I had to enlarge the photo because I wasn't sure it was a horse. Looks very small.

The white horse does look small.

I like the two sheds and the horse by them :)
