After a day of rain yesterday and during the night
it was nice to wake to clearing skies.
A bit cloudy when first walked but it was soon sunny with blue skies.
56 degrees with a breeze.
Walked 6 miles
So very quiet around town early this morning and I wondered
where everyone was.
Then remembered it was Labor Day.
Walked all around town.
Went past a house that was getting new shingles on the roof.
Didn't take a picture because all the workers watched me walk by.
Looks like some little boy or girl got a shiny new tractor and trailer.
I like that it is run by peddle power.
A little bunny stayed just long enough for me to take a picture.
Can you spot him?
If the mirror up ahead is misty I usually write something on it.
Today I wrote Good Morning.
You will have to enlarge the picture to see it.
Was just getting back to the Jeep to come home when I
saw Rebecca and John walking their dogs.

Garden Shed Number 7
πΌ πΌ πΌ
This morning I had to stay inside and get some housework done.
After lunch though I was outside.
It was sunny, 70 degrees and VERY WINDY.
We collected 3 more loads of rocks with the tractor and
scattered them in the rock scape Island.
No picture because it is just more of the same.
Will wait till it is completed and then post a before and after picture.
Before supper I made a couple more weave-it squares and
read a little.
That's it for today.
Thanks for stopping by.
A happy day to you. π

We had a storm earlier today.
I thought the shiny red tractor would be a new one for you guys!
I've finally started walking each morning after being inspired by you. Just 15 mins a few times a day, but at least it's something.
I like your garden shed series...got to go back and look to see what yarn you are using for the next blanket. I think it was you that showed some I loved....
Hi Karen - that little tractor reminds me of little riding toys that my children had over the years. So cute. Sounds like you and Ken worked hard on Labor Day. See you again tomorrow.
I love that you leave a message on the mirror!
That’s a cute little tracker and trailer.
Hey, Karen, I've been out of the blog loop, but am catching up with y'all. I love that you write messages on that mirror. Maybe you'll make someone's day. I remember peddle-driven riding toys. So fun! Is that where the term "peddle pushers" originated? π Happy Monday!
...my 20 year old grandson just left after paying us a visit. Before he was born I bought a John Deere pedal tractor and it's still going strong.
I love that little red tractor and wagon!
I can see the "Good morning" and the sweet bunny. I want the tractor with pedals!! Fun exercise equipment.
That shed this time, by the plants/high grass, makes me think there is a snake lurking somewhere!!
Hello,
The tractor and wagon is so cute! I found the bunny and the Good Morning message.
Take care, enjoy your day!
In the second photo there's a mirror. We have them in the countryside here too. Why is that? Surely people don't arrange their hair and lipstick when out walking? Do you?
God bless.
That litte tractor with the trailer is very cute! My grandsons would love that! I like that you put a little message on the mirror when you can!
I love that red tractor and trailer! Someone will have a lot of fun playing with it!
I thought that Ken had bought a new tractor. I'm sure the child who owns this little model will have lots of fun.
I do like the shiny new tractor and trailer, someone is going to have fun using it.
All the best Jan
