After the rain left it turned cool.
This morning the temperature was 48 degrees when I walked.
It was calm and quite foggy at first.
Then the sun came up
and chased the fog away and left a pretty blue sky.
A delightful walk today with my ideal temperature for walking.
Walked all over town and a little ways up Sale Barn Rd.
The trees weren't getting a trim down by the Drane house like
I thought, but a whole tree is being taken down.
While down that way I noticed quite a few spider webs around.
Saw one man walking a dog and Joy was out walking.
She asked me if I walked yesterday.
When I said I did, she laughed and said, "I thought you would."
Walked 6.2 miles

Garden Shed Number 4 and my favorite one.
This one sits in our friends, Connie and Ron's yard.
It looks like one of those 'tiny' houses.

Late this week getting the sheets washed and hung out on the line
because of all the rain.
After that Ken and I gathered rocks for the Island.
I guess you would call this a rockscape.
We got three BIG ones with the tractor and arranged them.
Then gathered 3 bucket loads of smaller ones and spread them around.
Love this BIG rock.
It's cupped to hold water to make a natural bird bath.
Ken estimates we will need 10 more loads of rocks to complete the job.
Finding rocks is NO problem at all around here.
No need to sit on the porch to cool down because it never got
too warm. It sure felt like Fall today.
We sat out back on the deck in the sun!!
That's all I have for today.
As always thanks for stopping by.
A happy day to you. 🙂

...the first image and the spider web steal the show!
Beautiful photos today! I loved the "misty" ones and the spider web best. The garden shed is adorable and how cool that you have a "nature made" birdbath!
Your first is my favourite.
That's a gorgeous shot of the spider web!
48 degrees! and I though it had turned cool here. We woke up to a windy morning with 66 degrees. It felt wonderful! That is a neat spider web. Where do all the big spiders come from this time of the year? I love your big rock that holds water. Love all the rocks. It's going to be so pretty.
It is cooling down some here too, and I am happy about that! I love that big rock that is a natural bird bath. I also like that bear sitting on the porch of the "tiny house" shed. So glad there wasn't a lot of damage from Ida in your area. Some places in Maryland were hit pretty hard. Have a good Friday!
Yup. I'd say that is a rockscape. The one that holds water is a great addition.
Today's garden shed is so cute. It's my favourite too ( at least so far).
I am just a bit envious of your 48 degrees this morning. There’s so much to love about this post. The foggy morning pictures and that of the gorgeous spider’s web are wonderful. And, so is the Island Garden!
If it's already only 48 degrees in the morning in your neck of the woods, you both better get busy on those next ten loads of rock. It'll be really cold in no time at all.
Hello,
Pretty views, I like the foggy scene and the web is cool. The shed is cute.
The cooler weather is great for walking now. The big rock is perfect for the bird's bath. Take care, have a great day!
Beautiful spider's web.
God bless.
Love the natural bird bath. I can see why this shed is your favorite!! Decorative & mighty pretty!!
Your Island Rockery is looking great - guess Ken enjoys using his Tractor too.
What a delightful walk, thanks for taking us along.
Beautiful 😍
That is a wonderful spiders web.
I do like Garden Shed Number 4 and yes, it does look like a tiny house.
All the best Jan
That's a sweet shed for sure. How cool that the large rock can be a natural bird bath. Your rock island is looking very nice.
Great spiderweb capture! I like your island....
