It was a cloudy morning with a temperature of 58
when I walked.
The sun just started to come through the clouds on the way home.
Walked around town and down 219 a ways again.
Most all the wild flowers are now dead along the side of the road.
Went up Sale Barn Road because there were cows in the pasture up that way.
The white one was mooing with meaning!
I thought these trees were getting a trim because they were under
the wires but all of them have been taken completely down.
What a shame to cut down all those perfectly good trees.
They are working on the other big tree there.
Didn't see anyone else out this morning.
Perhaps they will be walking later in the day.

This one could use a paint job.

More rock got collected, and added to the Rockscape Island.
Three more loads.
We did that in the morning and took it easy this afternoon.

I do wonder why they are taking those trees down....
it was super nice here weather wise but supposed to be back in the low 90's the next two or three days.
I forgot to say yesterday that I loved the garden shed, and I like the one today. It looks like its door could use some work.
...if you enlarge the picture of the tree work it looks like the tree limbs had grown around the wire in one or two places. Trees in the wrong places are problem trees!
Morning work, easy afternoon. That's what I aim for too. Sometimes things don't work out but generally they do.
I don't like to see healthy trees cut down either. All those years of growing and Bang, they're down.

“Mooing with meaning.” I like that. I hope her calf had not gone missing. A couple of years ago, the power company cleared the right-of-ways under lines here. I understand that it is necessary to keep all of us in power.

Total ridiculousness, to cut down all those trees. Unless they were diseased....
