Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Last of the sheds

🌧 This morning I had a rainy walk. 🌧
It rained the whole time I was out.
61 degrees
Wore my rain pants and yellow slicker.
Was a bit warm so unzipped my slicker once in a while to get
cool so I also got a bit wet.
Oh well, still a nice walk.

Walked all over town and around both cemeteries and the ball park.
It was just me out there walking this morning.
Didn't even see any animals.
👟  Walked 6 miles 👟

Today is the last picture in the Garden Shed series.
These NEW garden sheds sit in a lot next to the Rolling Pin Bakery
waiting for owners.

🍁    🍁

After lunch we went to church and picked up the church trailer.
Tomorrow we head out to Bedford, Pa to pick up the next pallet
of scriptures (the book of James) to put together on the next
Fingerprint Day.

Didn't do much today except read and I finished reading
The Identicals by Elin Hilerbrand
It was pretty good but predictable.
Probably won't read any more of her books.

That's it for today.
Hope your day was a happy one. 🙂

Some of that rain turned up in these parts.

And I got that book out of the library, too. Since I saw it here. It's really an old plot, identical sisters switching places. But then, are there ANY new plots? -smile-

Well, perhaps to do with new inventions. But still.... The interplay between humans, will still follow some plot line, already used, sometime, somewhere.

I remember a long ago tv plot, with the parts played by Stephanie Powers. One twin was married/with/children. The other was the girlfriend of a rich guy and they lived in Europe. The twist was... The girlfriend got blown up, on a boat, by an enemy of the rich guy, while they were switched. Sooooo, the former jet set sister, remained the married mom. -smile-

A rainy day is nice now and then. So glad you got a chance to read. :-)

Guessing the rain today was why they were harvesting the corn a little early yesterday? Glad you had a relaxing day of reading after your rainy walk and trip to pick up the church trailer. Good way to spend an afternoon. I spent a little time today reading also. Going through Jane Austen's book, Persuasion. Take care!

Hope the rain lets up for your trip tomorrow. So far we are having sunshine and highs in the 80's on our roadtrip.

There aren’t many days that our day starts out cooler than yours, but today we did - 57 degrees. Millie and I loved it! Your day looked like the kind of day to sleep a little later, but we do what we do!

Sometimes when it rains ... we don't feel like dancing.

God bless.

It rained yesterday and is raining right now. It is our default weather. :)

It's actually in the 60s here instead of 80s. NICE!!!
I hate that when you read a book and it's the same except for the names. Like westerns. Lol

Hello,
It is pouring here and I hear thunder. We could use some rain, so I will not complain. Take care, have a great day!

I like how it feels to be out when raining...just feels different. But I don't like getting wet going in and out of stores in rain....lol

Good for you for getting out for your walk ... even if it did rain.
