A couple of degrees cooler than yesterday morning at 46 degrees
when I left on my walk.
No wind and nice and sunny after a little patchy fog.
Sunrise 6:48
Walked 6 miles
Walked around town and then on over to the industrial park
and walked around there.
Went back through town, around the cemetery up on the hill
and back to the Jeep.
Didn't see anyone else out.
Saw a couple deer in the industrial park and as I was getting
back home there were 5 wild turkeys at the end of my driveway.

Garden Shed Number 5
This one could use a little fixing up.
🌼 🌼 🌼
Did a few things around the house till 11:00.
Then left for church for a day of Fingerprints.
Made a stop first at the library to pick up a book that I had on hold.
We usually do Fingerprints on a Thursday from 9:00 till mid afternoon.
This month we are having it on Friday from 12:00 to 9:00
and then again tomorrow from 9:00 till noon.
We thought this would give others a chance to be part of this
ministry who work or can't make it during the week.
Ken and I worked from 9:00 to 7:30 and then called it quits
for the day but will be going back again tomorrow to finish up.
Hard to keep track of how many people worked because people
came and went all day.
We got more than 5000 Romans books assembled, stapled,
and boxed up.
Felt good to get home, relax and have a dish of ice cream.
Hope your day was a happy one. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Karen. Wow, you guys made a lot of little books. I think it is a great idea to change the schedule so that more people can participate and help out. Have a good Labor Day Weekend!
5000?!! That is mind boggling. Love the fog in the first photo and that shed could be torn down & replaced ... My opinion.
Enjoy the holiday weekend.
Hello,
Love the landscapes and photos, the first scene is my favorite. You did complete a good number of books. Have a happy weekend!
The Old Shed has seen better days - if it could talk I recon it would have a lot of tales to tell. Spring here no - with some rain about.
Yesterday morning on my walk there were a bunch of wild turkeys crossing the street and heading to the sidewalk in front of me. I heard they can be pretty aggressive so I was clapping my hands to get them to move faster!
Garden shed #5 looks a little neglected, doesn't it.
I have 2 library books waiting for me too. I have to go pick them up today. These past few years the library is closed on Sundays. They used to be open in the afternoons but not any longer.
Enjoy the long weekend.
Interesting photos and info as always. That first photo with the fog is wonderful! Keep up the good work with your blog and walking!
Now that shed has seen better days for sure. How nice that you get so many volunteers for the books. Hope you are having a nice Labor Day weekend.
The fog in that first shot is marvelous to see.
Yes, that shed has definitely seen better days.
All the best Jan
I love that first pic...with the barn in the fog!
