52 degrees this morning, calm, with a mix of sun and clouds.
Town was pretty quiet this morning
while I walked all around it.
I can say I saw John.
Introduced myself to him and he told me his name too.
He told me the name of his dog but I forgot it.
There was a deer and her twins up at the cemetery and again they
disappeared in the corn field when they saw me.
Driving home I saw another deer and her twins.
These were by the side of the road eating apples fallen from a tree.
They weren't in any hurry leaving and I stopped the Jeep, watched
them a minute and then drove on.
Kermit, a man who I met in town planted some pumpkins
and I noticed some of them sitting on the steps out back by his garage.
Walked just 5 miles today.
That's all I had time for because we had to leave.

Left first thing after breakfast for another day of Fingerprints.
It was supposed to be from 9 to noon
but we all decided to stay and finish up the whole pallet.
We stayed till 3:45 working.
WOW, it's amazing how many we got done.
The total Romans books for the two days
12,877!!
A little work becomes much when God is in it. 😀
Having a nice relaxing evening.
Reading
Making some squares
Eating ice cream
It's been a good day.
Thanks for stopping by.
A happy and good day to you too. 🙂

I like those pumpkins and the shed.
All the best Jan
Wow! As my grandfather would say, "You did a stroke of work!" I put pumpkins on my steps too, but they usually aren't from my garden!
Wow, that's an amazing number of books you completed. Well done. That's a nice shed, too. Glad you know the name of the guy with the dog! :)
It rained here almost all day long...and cool enough till I needed long sleeves to stay on the porch.
That is a lot of books!!!!
Wondering what you are reading.
Wow! You are really getting a lot of those books out. What a blessing that will be.
Sounds like a nice walk and a great day with so many books completed.
I like the pumpkins on the steps. Take care, enjoy your day. Have a great new week!
Well done on the Roman Books over the two days. It is good to work on a Project with Friends.
Wow - that is a lot of little books. You and Ken give so much service to God through your church. That is one big reason you are happy! Have a wonderful Sunday!
Nothing like pumpkins for fall. I have seen some twin deer babes with their mom. So sweet.
A big job well done. What a sense of accomplishment and may His Word never return void.
Love these small town touches you share about your neighbors and friends. That's a nice collection of pumpkins. You and your friends at church are really cranking out those books! My goodness! God bless your efforts. How neat that you got to see two sets of mama deer/twin babies. Very cool!
