Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

We had a thunder storm rumble by early last night with
lots of rain and wind.

This morning it was cloudy and 54 degrees with a little breeze.

I walked the Farm Loop and made a collage of my walk.

Didn't meet any people or cars passing the farms
but when I got back to town I saw Joy walking.

Once back to town I walked around the ball park a couple of times
and then back to the Jeep.

Walked 6 miles

It was a scrambled egg breakfast for us today.
Then off to the Shop and Save for this weeks grocery shopping.
Put everything away, hung the clothes out on the line.
Though it was mostly cloudy, there was a wind and once in a
while the sun popped out so the clothes dried in no time.

Got a little housework done but not much.
Just can't seem to get motivated.
Too much other stuff I'd rather be doing. πŸ™‚

Well that's it for today.
Thanks for stopping by.
Tomorrow my post will be a little bit different than usual.
Hope you stop by.
A happy day to you.

L❤️VE the collages!! Sounds like a beautiful, prosperous day. I have had those days knowing other things can be done, but rather do something else...I understand.

I love the collage. So glad you got some rain. We desperately need rain out here in Utah. It was 107 here today - a new record. Doesn't get that hot here very often. See you again tomorrow.

WE've had two days of near constant rain, but I'm not complaining. It is so dry here we really need the rain... and the gardens are happy now!

Lovely photos! Is that last one Dogwood? I really enjoy Dogwood. Hope you are having a nice evening!

I love seeing the landscape after a rain...everything is so fresh and clean. Is that a dogwood blooming? How pretty! Now what are you up to for tomorrow! Hugs!

Great job on the collage! I have never tried making one. On the longest days of the year, one really can't afford to stay inside to clean house when there's so much outside to enjoy. Now you have made me curious about tomorrow's post. I will do my best to be here.

I really like the collage. Like Mary commented, on these long and lovely days there's so much to do and enjoy outside that housework can wait.

Is that a llama I see?

God bless, Happyone.

Great photos in the collage. Sounds like you got enough done for the day to me, I can relate to the lack of motivation some days. Looking forward to today's different kind of post, you have me curious.

Haha! All the animals looking at you! Love the collage. That was a chilly morning. I love a gentle thunderstorm, not the scary kind. Congrats on another great walk. Every day is a bit different. That must be really nice. Happy Wednesday!

Hi Happyone, Follow up: A week or so ago you mentioned a fun dinner of French fries in the air fryer. I've had an air fryer for a while but had never used it for French fries. I looked up the Cusinart recipe and followed it exactly. Wow, the fries were great! In the past I've always made fries with shortening but, of course, it makes a big mess. The air fryer fries were crisp and delicious and no mess to clean up. See, I keep learning cool stuff from you. This is a good example of how blogging is a great hobby. Anyway, just wanted to let you know this and say thanks! Also, I'm enjoying your daily walk photos but don't always leave a comment. Thanks, as always, for sharing! Have a happy day! John

Very cool up here too...

I see a wee bit of "Dragon's Breath" on your walk.

House work will be there, come winter. Summer is to be enjoyed! >,-))))))) Except for the basics, anyway.

Gentle hugs,
