We had just a dusting of snow last night.
33 degrees when I started my walk in town.
It was cloudy and after a mile or so a very light misty rain started.
Got a bit damp but not enough to matter.
The town pond is still frozen.
Walked up and down some streets in town.
Then headed over to the industrial park and walked around there.
Some of you may wonder why I would choose to walk there.
It is not like most industrial parks. There are only 4 businesses spread out over
quite a large area. The roads are nice and quiet with fields around and even
the back of a farm is behind it.
I made a college of the roads where I walk.
Saw two men out walking their dogs.
One was the man with the friendly dog and the other was a man
with a dog named Lizzy. She doesn't bark but doesn't seem very friendly.
By the time I was back at the Jeep I had walked 6 miles.

The temperature went into the 40's and we had a little rain,
but it was mostly foggy the rest of the day.
We drove into town to go to the Dollar General.
We didn't have our coupon but the friendly cashier gave us the $5 off anyway.
Ran into two friends while there, Joy, who goes to our church and
Lena who walks around town like I do.
Finished knitting another wash/dish cloth.
This one is a different pattern than I usually make and a little bigger too.
Just the usual and enjoyable day around the house.
Thanks for stopping by.
A happy day to you.

Vee - We still have the month of March yet so we still might have more snow but yes, I think the tide has turned.
John - Don't think we had any more snow this year than usual, it is just that the snow didn't have time to melt at all before the next snow came along and this year we had more ice which made layers of ice and snow.

You have some great places to walk. I can see why you like to head over to the Industrial Park. Rain caught up with me today when we were walking, but thankfully I had decided to carry my umbrella instead of my stick.
Hi Karen. The industrial park looks like a good place to walk - wide roads and not much traffic. We have had snow here all day, but now the sun is out. None of the snow stuck to the roads. I think the mountains go quite a bit. I like that nice big drying rack! That is great. I may look for one of those. I could put is in the office and then not to use the dryer so much in the summer. Thanks for a great idea. Hope you have a good Sunda.
...those drying rakes are popular with Amish folks and some shops in Amish communities make them. Our day start with rain and them sun and temps in the low 50s. Take care and watch for ice.
Woohoo! How nice that the cashier at Dollar General honored your coupon even though...
Sounds like a good day to walk and enjoy your day. Nice collage! Hope you have a nice Sunday!
Persistent snow.
God bless.
Hello,
I like the view of the pond, you have a nice place there for your walking.
Our snow is finally melting, rain today will wash some away.
Take care, have a happy new week!
Another woman walks your town, too. That's nice to know....
I like the looks of your drying rack. Tall, so nothing is 'squashed'...
And that is a load of your laundry? We have a lot more, in a load, here. -sigh- But we do have a dryer.
We often wonder, why we have so much laundry, for just 2 people. We live a very simple life. No need for different clothes for different activities. Etc. -smile-
Any quiet rode is a good place to walk. Soon you will be seeing the geese and other birds.
We use a drying rack too, we have a dryer that was here when me moved here but never use it. The rack works well and we move it to where the sun is shining whenever that happens. :)
SO nice that you can walk outside again! At least for the moment anyway!
It looks like a good spot for a stroll.
You have so many beautiful places to walk. I always enjoy your photos.
