Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Tuesday

More snow kept me walking in the basement this morning.
You all must be getting tired of snow pictures so today
here's a train layout one.

After breakfast I shoveled the snow off the driveway again
and then we went off to the Shop and Save to do the weekly shopping.

When we got back the snow plow had come by and left a pile of snow
across the driveway.  Not too big to drive through though.
After putting away the groceries I was back outside again
clearing the end of the driveway.

Ken was nice and made me nachos for lunch which is my favorite lunch.

After all the shoveling and walking 6 miles I was ready to have a
relaxing afternoon.

Haven't been knitting for a while so I got out the pink scarf I've
been working on and sat by the window and knitted.
The sun came out and poured in the window and I sat in the
sunshine and knitted. The scarf is about 30 inches long now.

Here's a picture of the scarf to remind you what it looks like.

We worked on the puzzle a bit this afternoon and I'm sure we will
have it finished this evening.

So that's all for today.
Thanks for stopping by.
A happy day to you.

Oh, I love the scarf! We’ve had almost no snow this winter following our snowfall on Christmas Eve.

We need some of your snow over here. I am ready for a good solid blizzard. That scarf is pretty. I really like that color.

No, I would never tire of snow pictures. But neither do I tire of train layout shots...it would be fun to see it in person. I still now I would miss stuff. The scarf is such a pretty color.

Great train layout capture. It's amazing how many different views and scenes you have shot. I remember snowplows leaving a nice bundle of snow at the end of our driveway. Our neighbor, who worked for the city, used to come by and clear it all for us which was really nice.

That scarf is so pretty. Glad you got some sunshine streaming in while you worked. Most of the family worked on a puzzle while we were in Arizona and we finished it before we all had to head home. All that shoveling and walking deserves a nice relaxing time!
