Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Outside

55 degrees this morning at 6:30 when I left on my walk.
It was sunny with some clouds and pretty windy.
I had my usual 6 mile walk around town.

The bird of the day today was crows - lots of them all over the place.
Saw the usual bunnies hopping around in the cemetery above.

 Sidewalk workers still at it
but didn't see any others out walking.

Some wild daisies along the way.
and some pretty yellow weeds along the guardrail.

While I was out walking Ken got the kitchen and TV room painted.
They were the rooms that the paint had faded pretty bad and when
we took the pictures off the wall you could really see a BIG difference.
We took a sample of the FADED paint to the paint store and matched
that up.  Then Ken just had to paint over the places where the pictures
were hung.  It covered great!!
Wasn't Ken clever to think of doing that?!

Amy, our realtor is coming over tomorrow to take some pictures
of the outside of the house and to put up the For Sale sign.
Friday a photographer is coming to take the inside pictures.

Mowed the lawn and then weeded the front walkway again.
Wanted it to look nice for the picture tomorrow.
I spread some Preen around to help control the weeds.
Some close ups of some blooms along the walkway.

I'm liking the camera on my phone and at least for now it will be
my only camera.

After supper we took another load up to the new house and put some
more stuff in the basement and some other stuff up
in the tractor barn.

We took the back yard swing up and put it out back at the new
house.  It was nice to sit there for a bit and dream of the day when
we actually will be living in the house.

Life is Good
Hope your day was a happy one.
