Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Still winter here

It appears that winter is not through with us yet,
we had more snow over night.
I waited to go walking till 8:00, it was 35 degrees and cloudy.
Since it was pretty warm for the snow it was a messy
slushy snow and I only walked a couple of miles.
Just too wet and when the snow plows went by the slush was thrown
pretty far.
The snow was pretty on the trees though.

Once I was back home I stayed outside and shoveled the driveway.
Did the whole thing by hand and it took me over 2 hours.
The snow was very heavy and I got a good workout.

Stopped by the new house again and Ronnie was finishing up  the window
sills and putting trim around all the windows.  Looks VERY NICE.

It's been a cloudy day but temperatures have been in the high
40's and lots of melting of the snow going on.
Hopefully by tomorrow we won't even know it snowed.

David (son) is meeting us at Brenda's for supper this evening.
Nice he is able to do that now that he lives close by.

Looks like a real winter wonderland. Good idea to get a workout by shovelling snow.

It looks beautiful, but I am sure you are ready for a change in weather.

It does look pretty and hopefully with the warmer temps, it won't last long. Enjoy your evening!

Oh goodness! Enough is more than enough with that white stuff. Old Man Winter has obviously not read the memo.

Beautiful pictures . . . especial that last one with the red house. Here's wishing you a warm season that lasts. I have never seen anywhere that changes back and forth as much as your little corner of the world.
God Bless You.

Hello! !
Celebrate this Easter with a heart filled with peace, joy and cheer! Have a happy Easter!
I am always impressed with a nice message.
In this season, Japan is stained with cherry color.
It is a very favorite season for Japanese people.
Sakura in Washington DC is also a present from Japan.
I am enjoying 70 kilometers on a road bike in cherry blossoms.
Ryoma.
