Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Pink Baby Blanket

🌸     🌸
A little misty when I started walking this morning and very windy but the
temperature was a warm 54 degrees.
The mist stopped after about a mile and during the rest of my walk
 it was just cloudy.

My usual walk all around town again up and down all the streets.
Thought with the warm weather I'd see a couple of others out
walking but again no one at all.

Sure is nice being outside walking to watch the beginning of another day.

Walked 6 miles
🌸     🌸
Ken went to get another load of stone and brought it up to the new house site.
I left a little after he did and went to church for Baby Blankets.
I was sick last month and missed it so it was nice to get back there again.
There were 8 of us there today.
This is the pink blanket I've been working on.
I've gotten five rows of 7 squares sewn together
so I'm half done and have 4 squares finished for the next row.
Had some lunch when I got home and then did a few house chores
before sitting down to do a little reading.

Count your blessings and have a happy day.

Your baby blanket is such a pretty shade of pink. I'm working on a ripple stitch one currently. :)

I am drawn to the first picture. That lone tree and cloudy sky give a moody look. The baby blanket is a beautiful color.

So glad that you are back in the swing of things and back to your usual six miles a day. How mild the weather looks there! I have a skating rink in my driveway. The pink baby blanket is very pretty. That color must keep you smiling as you work on it.

Very pretty shade of pink in your baby blanket. I can just picture the lucky little recipient all cuddled up inside.
