Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Ice Puddles

Ice Puddles
I like stepping in these and breaking the ice and that is just what I did
after taking the pictures. 😊

💜     💜
Left the house at 6:45 and it was 19 degrees.
No ice, snow, or rain and the sun even came out.
Nice to be able to walk in my regular walking shoes.
No one else out walking again this morning.
Walked all over town up and down all the streets.
Made a couple loops around the ball park and both cemeteries too
and then headed back home.
Nothing out of the ordinary today, but it was a nice pleasant walk.
Walked 6 miles
Found a penny
💜     💜
Bowling day once again. 🎳
5 of us today.
My scores were
157
162
122
We all went out to eat after bowling again and this time
we went to Pizza Hut.

This evening I'll start my next book and make a few more weave-it squares
 while watching Netflix.
I skipped ice cream last night and had a few Oreo cookies instead
but tonight it is back to ice cream.  🍦
I enjoy a nice evening at home.

Count your blessings and have a happy day.

...it's fun to find beauty in unexpected places.

Have you tried the new thin mint Oreos? I won't tell you how addicting they are!

Sounds like a great walk albeit cold. Great bowling scores. Enjoy that ice cream!

Those small icy puddles make for interesting pictures. Thanks for taking the time to capture this beauty.

I just finished a bowl of ice cream myself.
Good job on your bowling scores.
I remember the sound and feel of stepping on those ice puddles. It's been a long time since I've done that.

Neat ice puddles. Enjoyed your map last night. Compared it to Google maps and got to know your town a bit.

I used to like taking the top ice layer out of a bucket/bowl of water that got left outside.

I am sure it felt good to get back to walking your 6 miles. I like ice puddles, too. :)

No, I haven't and maybe I shouldn't. 😊

I like those ice puddles too. Aren't they cool looking, in all their shapes? We don't get them as often down here.
