Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A warm winter walk

The weather warmed up and it rained all last night.
The only snow around today is some piles of dirty snow from the plows.
Never fear though, cold weather is on the way along with some more snow.

The rain had stopped this morning for my walk.
It was a warm 54 degrees!!!
Nice being able to walk around both cemeteries and the ball park loop again
now that there is no snow on the paths and
no snow on the sidewalks either.
Nice walk all over the place.
The little horses are now in with the two bigger horses.
The one horse (I call Star) gave my hand a nuzzle.
It was cloudy and with a mile left of my walk a very light mist was in the air
but not enough to get me wet.
No more than fives minutes after I got home it started pouring.
Found a quarter.  💰

This morning I cleaned out and and cleaned the refrigerator.
Took everything out, wiped down all the shelves and organized it all.
Now if it would only stay that way.

After lunch I walked over to the library to get a couple of books that
were waiting for me to pick up.  Looked around and came home with another
one too.  Lori (librarian) and I talked about all the books that are on
our reading lists.  I told her my list is so long that I'll be dead before
I finish it.  She has a list like that too.
As you might have guessed when I got home I read.
😊
It's after supper now and I'm going to go and finish my book.

Count your blessings and have a happy day.

We had the warm weather yesterday, but cold returned along with some snow. Ice and freezing rain first...all the schools were closed in the surrounding area.

I got my nice walk on bare pavement in yesterday, but this morning it all froze again, and started snowing again. We're back to winter.

I haven't cleaned the fridge since I first bought the house

Hello, pretty horses. It was a nice warm day, but it rained here. I have a list on my online library. Hubby cleans our fridge, that is good for me. Enjoy your day and weekend.

We warmed up a bit too - at least for awhile. Lovely horses. I have a long reading list but probably not as long as yours. I have yet to get a library card here in TN. That is next on my list of things to do.

Those horses look happy :) Haven't we had a snowy January? This is our second snow, just last night. Enjoy your book! Reading is such a good pass time.
