50 degrees this morning and cloudy for my walk.
For about 5 minutes there were a few rain drops but that was it.
Walked all over town up and down all the roads and around the cemeteries
and ball park loop.
The other day I found out that the kitty that lives at the Day Care Center
in town is named Milo. Here he is taking a stretch before jumping off the
fence and coming over by me to get a pet.
The man that runs around the ball park loop 5 times was there today
and I saw Lisa off in the distance.
A while back I mentioned that the old bakery shop in town was for rent again.
I looked in the window this morning and the whole inside of the place
is getting ripped out. I will be curious to see what they do with it.
Walked 6.2 miles

The last of the puzzles has been sitting on the table for weeks now without
being worked on. This time of year is just not the time to be working on
puzzles so I took it apart what was done and put it away till the snow comes
back.
Speaking of snow there is just a tiny bit of snow left up on the ski slopes
in McHenry. Snapped a picture of it yesterday.
Ken went up to Happy Trails but I thought I'd better stay home for a day
and get some house stuff done.
There were a few showers throughout the day and a bit sunshine too
late this afternoon.
Spent a little time reading too.
A happy day to you.

I love that first picture. Some snow takes a long time to melt. I still have a little bit on my yard as well.
Do you go skiing there? It looks nice and alpine-y.
Good idea to put the puzzles away until the winter - you'll be out in the garden now.
...oh I do like your first image.
Loved the picture of the kitty stretching before coming to you for a pet. :)
The chicken tractor from yesterday's post is really cute! I go through spells thinking that I would love to have chickens, and ducks and another Border Collie, but then I think about who would we get to take care of them when we went away. So for now, anyway, it is not in our future.
That's a nice proverb
Nice spring time shots. Puzzles are for winter, I agree with that!
I love your first shot...and I would love to pet Milo!
Hi Karen, so glad you had a nice day. Love the daffodils in your first photo. We are finally seeing some too here.
Milo looks like a lovely cat.
It would be hard to sit this time of year for hours doing a puzzle. You just want to be outside.
Have a good day. It's another rainy one here!

Hello lovely images. The flowers in the first shot are pretty, I like the cute kitty. I agree, puzzles are for winter. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day!
The cat looks so lovely. "A kind word is like a spring day"--beautiful!
Have a blessed Thursday!
Too much fun stuff outside to do puzzles now! I'm finding some interesting places to walk in the neighborhood here away from the busy street. The cat looks very contented on that fence.
It's so nice to have the outdoors time of year upon us again. You saw some pretty sights. Hope your week ends well!
Oh my your first picture is just great ...
All the best Jan
Thank you for the nice photo. Milo is a great name for a cat. What are you reading for sort book now? I'll buy tomorrow a new book :)
What a contrast your first picture is to some just a few weeks ago. Happy weekend to you!
Milo looks a bit like our kitty, but Goldie is strictly indoors. Better for her, and lots better for the local wildlife.
I only get the puzzles out in the winter as well - and it's heading our way soon :)

Winter is for puzzles for sure - but I do a few online now and then - not as demanding, they don't take up space and no pieces fall on the floor. It sounds like you had a wonderful walk.
A beautiful image of some wonderful daffodils, sadly our display is over. Ginger cats are particularly cute!
Have a wonderful week Happyone and don't do too much housework :)
