This morning it was 22 degrees, no wind, cloudy at first but then the sun came out.
Walked straight through town and down toward Happy Trails.
Turned right on this road and kept going toward HT.
Made another right turn toward HT and walked down here.
Turned around and headed home before I actually got there.
These pictures are on the way back.
When I got back to town I took a couple of loops around the cemetery
at the top of the hill and then went home.
at the top of the hill and then went home.
No one else out walking today, none that I saw anyway.
A pretty morning and nice to get some vitamin D.
By the time I got home the temperature was above freezing and it was
so nice with the sun out and no breeze that I sat out on the front porch
for about 10 minutes before going back in the house.

Ken and I went for a ride this afternoon and found another quilt barn
which I'll post on Monday for the Barn Collective.
Stopped in at Candyland which also sells fresh produce.
Ken picked out candy and I picked out some 'good' food to make one of my
famous salads which I made for supper.
We also came across a family cemetery and stopped to take some pictures
but I thought I'd have enough pictures for today's post so I'll
post them tomorrow.
We finished the puzzle. This was a fun one to do and we were happy
that all 1000 pieces were there. This one is a keeper and we will do
it again sometime.
I had mentioned that the pieces were tightly interlocking and here is
the proof. Ken is holding it up.
A happy day to you.

I always love a winding road.
I really like that puzzle! How interesting to have a veggie/candy store!
Hope you have a good weekend.
The puzzle came out great! And I'm glad you had a good walk. It's been beautiful this week for afternoon walks. Happy weekend!
It turned out to be a very nice day over this way. Our afternoon temps were in the mid 50's. Your puzzle turned out so well...it is really a pretty puzzle and I love it that Ken could hold it up...not that's tight interlocking! :-)
The views you get as you walk are so lovely.I like a winding road and then to have it tree lined makes it so much more special.
Thinking of you, I bought myself some new yaktrax today so I have one less excuse for not walking!
nice quote
Pretty puzzle, it reminds me of your walks . . . the country side, the snow, the barns, the farm houses and the winding roads. You live in a very pretty area. Happy weekend!
Connie :)
2 things.
Driving around, looking at the scenery, stopping in little stores....that's what I miss the most.
What is the brand of that puzzle?
A very pretty puzzle! I've not attempted anything that big yet. Always enjoy your walks. The snow is so pretty. Have a great weekend.
That puzzle makes me picture what your walks look like.

Lots of snow up your way! It has snowed once here all winter, and we were out of town. Cool puzzle. It would take me all year to do that.
Lovely photos Karen! We have been enjoying sun for the last two days too. It does feel good knowing we are getting some vitamin D!
Beautiful puzzle!
Some wonderful snow scenes Karen and great to see a blue sky from your porch. It makes such a difference.
Have a fantastic weekend :)
Very nice puzzle :-)
Love the puzzle picture. Looks like it would be a fun one to do.

All the best Jan
