Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Great walking weather

Not much left of this old shed.
🌹     🌹     🌹
This morning there was no snow, no ice, no rain, and no wind.
I even saw some sun and heard some chirping of birds.
27 degrees and what a wonderful morning for taking a walk.

Walked all around town up and town all the streets.  Around both of the cemeteries a couple of times and the ball park loop too.

A man with his dog and a woman with her dog were enjoying a walk this morning too.

Walked 6.2 miles

Though it is Tuesday and bowling day no one else was going so we didn't either.

It was nice to see the sun shining all day and we just enjoyed a day at home.

Worked on the latest puzzle.  This one is a 1000 piece one of a snowy scene.
This is what we have done so far.  We like this puzzle because the pieces are
tightly interlocking.  When this is done we will be able to pick the whole thing
up in one piece.
I've started reading The Paris Architect by Charles Belfoure.
It is for my book club.  I didn't think I was going to like it but once I started
reading it I changed my mind.
This is one reason why I like the book club, I read books that I would never
have picked out myself.

The latest baby blanket I'm making is coming along fine and I'm more than
half finished with it.  It's a weave-it one with a checkered pattern
of white and pink.

 Happy Valentine's Day
💘
A happy day to you.

Looks good in your area. We are cool, but mostly dry. I bought a puzzle hoping to get it put together on some snow days. NO snow day! Oh well....

Love your shot of the cemetery! Looks like a place I'd enjoy visiting. Today I didn't get a run in, but yesterday it was in the 40s, and I ran 10K. It was beautiful weather for this time of year--and we're expecting even more beautiful weather in the next few days!

When we have a morning walk in such a climate it would be fresh for our body and the day will be fresh always. All the best for you to complete the puzzle:)

Hi Karen, hope you and Ken had a lovely valentine's Day.
What wonderful weather you are enjoying! This weekend the weather forecasters are saying it could be 50 degrees here. Lots of snow melting will be going on!
Looks like another interesting puzzle.
Have a good day!

I'm so glad that you had some decent weather to enjoy walking outside again, Karen. Your puzzle will be so pretty when it is worked. I'd love to see it being picked up...those tightly interlocking ones are great!

Love your quote at the end of your post.

Hope your Valentine's Day was a good one...staying home and enjoying the day together is pretty special.

Hello, I am glad you are having great walking weather. Maybe the birds know spring is coming soon. Enjoy the puzzle. Have a happy day!

It sounds like lovely walking weather for you. We hare having pretty nice weather too although it may storm today. Our mutual friend in WV has introduced me to an online puzzle site so I'm trying that. I may venture into the boxed one later. My biggest was 420 pieces and took me awhile. I can't imagine doing 1000 pieces! Have a blessed day.
