Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself;
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today.
I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet.
I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it.
~Groucho Marx

This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalm 118:24

For those of you who have been wondering about the duck
he is now gone.
No sign of him today.

And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee:
for thou, Lord, has not forsaken them that seek thee.
Psalm 9:10

A blessed Sunday to you.
Jesus loves you.

  1. Hello, hopefully the duck has found his family. Looks frosty there. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and the week ahead!

  2. Hope your day is filled with peace and love.

  3. Well, I hope the duck is safe wherever he may be ...
A blessed Sunday to you too ...

    All the best Jan

  4. I'm catching up on your posts. Mercy, it's getting really cold to get out and walk in your neck of the woods. 21 degrees is REALLY cold! Do you walk year-round, even when the temperature is in the single digits? I really admire your dedication, as I've said before.

  5. If you see him give him a name, like Mr. Duck, Quackers, or Jim.

  6. Love your beautiful snippets♥ Happy Monday ♥

  7. Thanks for the update on the duck Karen. Thanks for sharing the Psalm.
