Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Puzzle Number 2

A warm 47 degrees this morning but a rainy one the whole time I was walking.
A bit on the windy side too.
Wore my rain paints and yellow slicker so I didn't have to take
my umbrella along with me.
Never took any pictures walking today, just too rainy to get my camera out.

Walked all over town, up and down all the streets and walked the loops
around the cemeteries and the ball park a couple of times.

Didn't see anyone else out walking and no animals either.

Walked 6.3 miles

Tuesday and bowling day and it was so nice to have
David along with us for a day of bowling.
No one made any records bowling but we all had a fun time.

I baked some chocolate chip cookies for David to take with
 him when he leaves tomorrow.

The three of us have been working on jigsaw puzzle number 2
and this evening we finished it.
I have a feeling I'll be getting the next one out later.
A happy day to you.

What! Is it nothing to be happy?
Nothing to skip, play, and run around all day long?
Never in his life will he be so busy again."

It's not so nice walking in the wind / rain and even more difficult to take photo's, so well done on getting your walk in!

That puzzle looks good finished, it doesn't look an easy one to do.

Enjoy the rest of your time with David ... he will enjoy those chocolate chip cookies.

All the best Jan

That's a very cozy scene on your puzzle. I like the way David worked on it too. How nice that he came for a visit.

I never do jigsaw puzzles, but I bought a couple and put them out last week when our daughter and granddaughters were visiting. We had so much fun working on them together. The four of us run from age 9 to age 71, but it was a great project for everyone :)

You are so good at getting your walking in! Love the puzzle. We haven't done one in a long time, and enjoy doing them. Chocolate chip cookies sound yummy!

Most are hibernating this time of year so good for you getting up early to walk!
The jigsaw looks challenging because of the pale colors, I imagine. Well done finishing it!
Have a good day today!

Never got my puzzle put like I wanted too. The table is being borrowed by my brother during the Christmas season. Good job.

Oh I have missed stuff...like David being with you. Excellent! Your puzzle is darling, but last I knew you were working on a very difficult one. I think. I don't know much anymore. ☺

It's always great and a little sad to finish a jigsaw puzzle. Glad you had some good company to complete it. I'll need to call my dear old Pop today and see what puzzle he is working on. Have a great day!
