Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Not two but one

🌲     🌲     🌲
This morning was warm again for this time of year at 45 degrees.
Fog around for the morning with a light misty rain at times but no wind to speak of.

A random walk this morning with no particular order to it.
Went all over town up and down the streets and around both cemeteries
and the ball park loop.

No one else out again.  It was like a Sunday morning.
Walked 6.3 miles

Ken went out with Edd for breakfast and then the auction which they
do most Fridays.

I got a few things done around the house in the morning and worked
on the jigsaw puzzle for a little while.
Nice to sit home on a dreary day and read for a while too.

Don Williams, who did the chalk drawings at church the other week also
does some other smaller pictures and sells the prints.
These are just regular pictures without hidden pictures.
In years past I've bought a print of a Wren and one of a Cardinal.
This year I bought this winter scene.
The two pictures are actually one picture.  When we bought the frame with the matte
we were going to cut out the middle of the matte so it would fit the big picture,
but we liked the look of it as two pictures so just kept it.

A happy day to you.

Lovely winter scene print, I like it.

We've had a beautiful sunny day today, blue skies a slight wind it was so lovely walking and seeing all the wonderful colours that nature provides.

As the weekend approaches, I wish you and Ken a good one.

All the best Jan

I'm glad it was quiet today. I bet people are recovering from all the feasting.

We had the same weather you did Karen. Anything is better then snow, for me anyway!

Enjoy your weekend!

Hi, I have you sent the recipe for cookies by email!
I love your photo. Very nice, the trees in the fog.
I've made also a misty photo early in the morning. Shall show it on my blog :-)

I hope it stays where it's at weather wise here. Old man winter can go on vacation this year

That is a neat effect you have with the matting and one picture that looks like two!
