Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Tuesday

📷     📷     📷     📷
It was 52 degrees this morning with sun and low hanging clouds
Started my walk up behind the hill in back of my house.
Then through town and up Sale Barn a little ways,
Down towards HT and then back to town.
Around both cemeteries and the ball park loop.

Rebecca was out walking her dog,  another woman who I see but don't know her name was walking her dog also.
Kathy and I stopped for a bit of a chat.
We got to know each other a little bit better.
You might wonder why we don't just walk together.
We both like walking alone.
A good time to think and reflect and it's my morning prayer time.
Walked 6.5 miles.
Sunrise 6:50
Sunset 7:40

Last night at church was a bit different than I thought.
I thought it was a family singing but it was just the mother who sang and her son played the guitar.  She had a beautiful voice and it was such a blessing to hear her sing.
The hymns she sang were from the 1700's and ones that I had never heard.

It is Tuesday once again so off we went for a fun time of bowling.
There were 9 of us bowling today.
The two lanes we were bowling on kept having trouble so we
were moved to different ones.

After bowling we picked up a few things at Walmart before coming home.

This evening I'll be working on some more weave-its, I'm almost done with the latest baby blanket.
I have a couple more days to finish reading my book for my book club meeting,
so I'll probably read some of that too.
We meet on Thursday this month instead of the usual Wednesday.

That's been my day.
A happy day to you.

I really like that misty farm scene you captured.
I can understand why you and Kathy would enjoy your morning walks alone. I think it's a wonderful time for saying prayers too.

Beautiful photos! Your morning walks would seem magical! I prefer to walk alone too. I can walk at my own pace and think and pray. Have a good day.

I know what you mean, it's nice to stop and say hello or catch up, but it's also good to be able to walk and think by oneself. Lovely pictures xx

The calmness in this beautiful area first thing in the morning makes for an ideal place to meet with God!

Sounds like you had a good walk today... I wish our morning temperatures would go down into the 50's.... SOON--I hope...

Glad you enjoyed the church service... Old hymns from the 1700's were VERY different from today's music...

Great foggy picture...
Hugs,
Betsy

One bowling alley near me used to always give us the lanes that never worked.
