62 degrees this morning but it felt cooler for some reason. It didn't get much warmer than that all day.
No pretty sunrise this morning because it stayed cloudy but I still had pretty scenery to enjoy while walking.
Started my walk on the hills behind my house and then walked all over town.
The two cemeteries were in the middle of my walk too but I didn't make it to the ball park.
Lots of rabbits around town. Saw five of them and one little chipmunk.
Saw Kathy today but we just waved as we were far away from each other.
Walked 6.3 miles
Sunrise 6:59
Sunset 7:25

Today was Baby Blanket Day at church and I went there with 6 other women and we worked on making blankets. Someone asked me how many we've made. I don't know the number but it is a LOT. I forgot to ask how many today.
When I got back home Ken was up at Happy Trails. He is working on making a small built in table and benches in the little bump out in the back by a window.
I'll take some pictures of the progress when I get back up there.
I didn't do much this afternoon in the way of work.
Just finished up a bit of dusting.
Then read.
Later we are taking a ride over to Morgantown.
and having a special treat for dinner and going to Outback.
Celebrating my hair cut.
It's been a week now and I'm finally recognizing the person in the mirror.
😊
Still no ice cream in the house.

Hello Karen - as you may be aware I've been away, so I'm catching up on reading!
Do hope my comment came through ok on your older haircut post, I think it suits you.
I wonder how many baby blankets you and the other ladies have made? I'm sure they will be so well received.
Take care my blogging friend, I will call in to see you, or should I say read all about your day, again very soon.
All the best Jan
Hello, I like your photos, pretty rural scenery. It is wonderful you and the group are making the blankets, I am sure they will be loved. Have a great evening weekend ahead!
how sweet to make blankets...
love the wonderful colors in your photos. lovely!
A beautiful rural scene. My favorite!
beautiful pictures. Some scenes actually looks better on a cloudy day and I think these are both examples of that.
This looks like my neck of the woods.
What a pretty fence scene, so much lush greenery still. - Hope you had a good time at Outback.
joy to eyes .
thanks for lashing sharing .your blog reveals the meaning of you blog name .
wish you too a blessed day
I'm pretty sure my husband would have a panic attack if he didn't have ice cream in the kitchen, or freezer in the basement. ;-) Our grand-kiddos call it "the good stuff". LOL Can't wait to see the progress on your cabin. You're gonna enjoy that so much.
Lovely scenery on your morning walk with a sweet fence thrown in for good measure!
I take it you went to Morgantown WV? We stopped over night there in July but we went to Texas Roadhouse! Love
Outback too especially their Thunder from Down under dessert!
this fence is getting a nice, big hug from nature. soon, it will not longer be visible. nice capture!!!
and how sweet on the making of blankets!!!
Nice fence shot! I love the yellow flowers from a distance...and though I can't make out what type of flowers they are, they don't look like the terrible wild parsnip we have in some ditches here in Iowa...so I'm guessing I'd love them up close as well.
I love rustic looking fences! All the ones around me are chain link. Very uninteresting! What, still no ice cream? Have a blessed weekend.
I just got some new ice cream. I like mayfield and pet and bluebell. I hate Breyers
I remember the poem "Good fences make good neighbors" by Robert Frost.:)
I like that activity you have in your Church. Cheer on!You sure look great in your new haircut.
Has someone been rude to you lately? So many quotes about it. =D I'm feeling zinged because I recently decided that I would be kind but firm because people treat me as if I am a stupid dolt and I do not appreciate it. So you can see why I feel as if the preacher is pointing right at me during his sermon. LOL!
