Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Wednesday

✿     ✿     ✿     ✿
This morning when I started walking it was 70 degrees and cloudy.
A few sprinkles of rain now and then but nothing to get me wet, just kept me cool.

No special route today, just all around town.
Stayed kind of close to home in case the weather turned nasty.

This picture was taken from one of the cemeteries.
I zoomed in a bit.
Like how you can see all the rows of corn.
This picture was taken standing in the other cemetery.
Slightly to the left of the middle up in the clouds
is where Happy Trails is.
Walked 6.3 miles.
Sunrise 6:32
Sunset 8:10

Needed three more pieces of paneling for the cabin so we went back to Lowe's in LaVale to get them.
Even though the website said they had six of them in stock they were out of them.  Not getting any more in till next week or maybe the week after.
So finishing that up is on hold.

While we were in LaVale we went in a few other stores.
I got a couple tee shirts for walking in nice bright colors so I'll be easily seen.
Once we were back home, Ken went up to HT
and I stayed home.

Went outside and got some more weeding done.
Also picked more cucumbers and zucchini from the garden.
I gave them to my neighbor.

It was mostly a cloudy day with a little sunshine
and a couple of rain showers thrown in there too.

Hope your day was a happy one.

Beautiful area. The horses look happy. So frustrating about the panels but then again you had some retail therapy, nice shirts.
Lovely American goldfinch, ours look very different!
Have a wonderful weekend :)

Great pics! Is the bird eating something, or is that just little black stones?

Love the horses and the goldfinch.
Nice to see the views and where Happy Trails is.

Such a shame you couldn't get your panels but I do like your tee shirts.

All the best Jan

Nice to meet you - I noticed that you and I share most of the same blog friends and wanted to say "hi." Love these pretty, peaceful scenes you captured. Good for you walking and glad you had a few sprinkles to cool you off. Our day's weather has been much the same here in north GA.

Your goldfinch is wearing his bright colors, too. I guess he doesn't want to be shown up!
