Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Tuesday

✿     ✿     ✿     ✿

63 degrees this morning and mostly cloudy but I did see the sun once in a while.  A bit of a breeze which kept it from being hot.

The sun no longer wakes me up shining in the window and I got up 15 minutes later than usual this morning.

I walked one of the town routes, up and down and all around.

Kathy was out walking but no sign of the new woman from yesterday.  Maybe she'll walk every other day.

Not much happening around town this morning.
I walked 6.2 miles.
Sunrise 6:24
Sunset 8:20

Ken went up to Happy Trails to work on the cabin again.  Even though it was bowling day, he was on a roll and wanted to get more work done.
So I went bowling on my own.
There were six of us there today.
Scores not bad today.  All above my average. 155, 150 and 140 in that order.

My car was really dirty again so before I went bowling I gave it a good washing.
Nice having a clean and shiny car.

That's about all I did today.
Looking forward to reading more of my book.

Hope your day was a happy one.

I can understand some people not liking happy folks....they would prefer others be full of gloom and doom just like they are. Very sad!!! Those flowers are gorgeous....are they along your driveway?

The first picture with all those flowers is exceptional.

Those flowers are amazing!
Nice to have a clean car. I was washing the dried flies off mine last night. It runs smoother and goes faster when it's clean :)
Have a wonderful Wednesday :)

Love the flowers in your first photo. So pretty! It is dark in the mornings when we walk now. Harder to get up in the dark! I dislike driving around in a dirty car too. Hope you had a nice walk this morning. We are just on our way out the door.

Hello, I love the beautiful flowers and photos. I like walking outside in the cooler weather, the humidity lately is not good. Have a happy day and week ahead!

Thanks, no the flowers are just along where I walk.

Beautiful flowers! I've always called the yellow ones Black-eyed Susans. I don't know if that is the proper name. Good bowling scores. Have a great day.

I did and I'm sure you did too. : )
I leave later than you so it is still light out when I leave but it won't be long before I leave in the dark.

I prefer cool weather but I'll walk in anything. That happens when you're obsessed. : )

Yes, they are Blacked-eyed Susans and the MD state flower.

Hi Karen! Good bowling!
I hope your new shoes are still working well!

I like my old ones better. Still have to get some inserts for them. Today I took my old shoes out of retirement. : )

That Black-Eyed Susans are SO pretty... They always make me smile.... One of my best friends was named Susan --and she died several years ago from cancer... I always think of her when I see the Black-Eyed Susans...

Hugs,
Betsy
