55 degrees this morning and like yesterday there was some low clouds hanging around.
A bit of a breeze around too and it soon blew away the clouds.
I walked the Farm Loop.
Didn't see the goats today. Can't help what wonder what they are getting up too.
The chickens were around
and Eva the cow was in the front pasture.
Tried get a picture of her but she just wouldn't look up.
I told her she missed her chance today to be on my blog.
The sunshine on these black-eyed Susan's caught my eye.
Once back to town I walked around there and made one loop
around one of the cemeteries and then home.
The daisies at the end of my driveway are blooming no more
except for this last flower. : )
Walked 6.3 miles.
Sunrise 6:44
Sunset 7:51

After breakfast I walked over the Sherry's,
returned her book and made an appointment to get my hair cut.
I showed her the picture and she thought it was a good cut for me.

The big day is next Thursday, Sept 8th.
Tuesday is bowling day.
We left a little earlier than usual to do a few errands before bowling.
There were nine of us bowling today.
After bowling we did our food shopping at good ole Walmart.
We have passed by an old barn a good many times
and I always say someday I'm going to stop and take a picture of it.
Today we were driving and a light came on telling us that the back hatch was open.
We were right by the barn. : )
Ken got out to close the hatch and I took a couple of pictures.
Then zoomed in to get a closer look.
The colors got a bit washed out.
BLT's for supper tonight
and now time for a little relaxation.
Which includes some ice cream.

BPW - The blanket I'm making is neither knitting or crocheting - its weaving on a small 4 inch loom.
Vee - We don't really get that high humidity up here but it has been a bit higher here this year. Still not hot enough for us to use AC.
RK - Don't know now many off hand but it is a good many. I'll have to ask and let you know.

I think your temperatures are dropping a little ...
Those black-eyed Susan's do look nice in the sunshine, and I like the barn pictures.
Well done for making your hair appointment, Sept 8th will come around quickly.
All the best Jan
PS Thanks for your comment on my choc chip cookies post. I agree your cookies / biscuits are very well liked, and to a well tried and trusted recipe.
It was nice of that warning light to come on at the right spot so you could get your pictures of the old barn. I really like your first photo -- the mist gives it a dreamy atmosphere.
Great barn! Glad that the opportunity presented itself to get its picture. I had a BLT for supper tonight, too. So good with my next to the last tomato. All that watering and I got five tomatoes! I am not going to figure the cost for each one. ; >
I like the way you tell your story. I feel like reading a diary. :-)
Thanks for sharing and I also love that quote about a teacher. Godspeed!
Great post as always Karen. As piccolina says it is like reading your diary.
Gorgeous barn, it looks very old.
Looking forward to seeing your new look!
Hello, pretty images and flowers. The BLT and ice cream sound perfect for me. The old barn is wonderful, great photos. Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!
Enjoyed the walk again today. I admired "the last Daisy".

I always enjoy my walks with you. I always feel that old barns have such stories to tell - almost like an old house. Great photos. Excited to hear how your hair cut turns out.
Your walks are beautiful. It's just so pretty there! Makes me want to pack up and move. It's exciting to be getting a new hairstyle. Bet you will love it! Oh, I finally got tired of red velvet cake ice cream and had to switch. Have you tried Turkey Hill's natural buttered almond?
Isn't it fun to find bright spots in our day and thanks for taking these photos and of the barn too!
Beautiful pictures,The yellow flowers look especially lovely.
I've been more of an Aldi person when it comes to groceries these days. Like Walmart, the lines can pile up but these guys are super-quick getting people scanned. They don't (and won't) bag your groceries and that helps speeds things up.
Black-eyed susans are a favorite. They always looks so happy. I like daisies, too. Sad to see them go.
