Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

The Heart of a Child

✝     ✝     ✝     ✝

The Heart of a Child

Whatever you write
on the heart of a child,
No water can wash away.

The sand may be shifted
when billows are wild,
And efforts of time may decay.
Some stories may perish,
Some songs be forgot;
But this graven record....
Time changes not.

Whatever you write
on the heart of a child,
A story of gladness or care,
That Heaven has blessed,
or earth has defiled,
Will linger unchangeable there.

Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go,
and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

A blessed Sunday to you all.
Jesus loves you.

Hi Karen - I hope your Monday is going well. I just saw some reports on the flooding in Ellicott City and know that is where you moved from. It is just a few miles from where my daughter lives at Ft. Meade. Praying for the people in the flood. I hope all is well with you. Have a good week.

The old town of EC gets flooded pretty regularly. A river runs through town and it is in a low spot. Sad to say that some people were drowned this time. A car got carried away with people in it.
