Take a close look to spot the butterfly.
Doesn't it blend in well?

68 degrees this morning under cloudy skies with light patches of fog.
I walked all around town, down the road toward HT, up Sale Barn a ways, and around both cemeteries and the ball park loop.
Today in my town is yard sale day and as I walked around I saw at least a dozen yards getting set up for the sale. I just walked right by without even looking. I already have too much stuff.
Walked 6.3 miles.

Ken wanted to have a yard sale but I don't like having them. So he decided to have one on his own and he did quite well. Lots of people stopped by and actually bought stuff. I poked my head out the door every so often to see how things were going.I got some more cleaning done and also baked some cookies.
Ken packed up the yard sale items that didn't sell and in the afternoon we went to our friends, Chester and Linda's house for an afternoon of shuffleboard playing. I took along some cookies that I baked this morning. Chester asked me if I'd bake cookies with peanut butter chips in them so I did. I used the chocolate chippers recipe and just used the peanut butter chips in stead of the chocolate ones. I'm not that crazy about them but Chester liked them.
We all had fun playing shuffleboard, eating and just enjoyed the afternoon. Ken and I lost both games we played. We do better at bowling. : )
I did a little research on line and found out that those pretty yellow flowers in my garden from yesterdays post are Sundrops Evening Primrose. They are perennials so will be coming back each yard and spreading their beauty around my garden. : )
Last week I told you about Jodie, a friend from church whose baby was breech and asked for prayers for the baby to turn and get in the right position for being born. I want to THANK YOU for your prayers. The baby has turned and she is now in the right position. : ) Jodie is due next week.
Hope your day was a happy one.

The sunflower photo with the butterfly is stunning. That one should be enlarged and hung on a wall.

I think that first photo of the butterfly and sunflower deserves an award, it is just fabulous, you've caught it perfectly.
Glad you were able to find out the name of those yellow flowers and so very pleased to read the good news about Jodie, that is a great relief to all concerned.
All the best Jan
So glad everything is going well with Jodie. Gorgeous sunflower and butterfly photo! We had our yard sale a few weeks ago and didn't do too bad either. Got rid of lots of stuff!
Enjoy your Sunday!
I know what you mean about garage sales. I have too much stuff, too. Pretty little flutterby!
Beautiful butterfly photo! Sounds like you had a great afternoon.

What a fantastic shot of the butterfly on the sunflower. Whenever I go near a butterfly it flies off.
Evening primroses are very pretty flowers.
Shuffleboard looks fun!
Happy Sunday Happyone :)
That butterfly on the flower is amazing. It blends in so well! I'm so happy for your friend Jodie, that the baby has turned. Prayer changes things, doesn't it?
Isn't it amazing how God camouflages His creations....that butterfly is exactly the same color as the center of the sunflower. WOW!!! Love going along on your walks with you simply because of the awesome pics! ;-) And, I don't like to have yard sales, either.
How wonderful that bloggers can come together and pray for a baby's health and then get acknowledgement that all is well in the world for this little family. Thanks for letting us know.
Thank you, maybe I'll do that. : )
Thanks, I just there with my camera at just the right time. : )
Thank you, just the right timing. : ) I'm glad the flowers will come back every year!!
Yes, good news about the baby!
Jodie is glad too. : ) I love sunflowers and just good timing to get the butterfly on it.
At least we have a little less stuff now. : )
Thanks, it was a fun afternoon. : )

Glad the baby is now in the correct position...
I don't like Garage Sales either --but my kids made quite a bit of money doing theirs. It's A LOT of work though.
Hugs,
Betsy
Just got lucky with the butterfly being in the sunflower. The baby is due some time this week.

I'm not very good at shuffleboard but it is fun. None of us takes it very seriously so then there is a lot of laughter. : )
