Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself;
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today.
I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet.
I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it.

New Verse and change in comments

A new month and a new monthly Bible verse for us to learn at church.

I Peter 5:6-7.

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God,
that He may exalt  you in due time:
Casting all your care upon him;
for he careth for you.
A blessed Sunday to you.
Jesus loves you.

A CHANGE
In the past I've answered  questions in the comments at the end of the next days post.  Starting yesterday I'm answering them right in comments in the Reply.  I'll try to reply to everyone who comments.

  7. One of my favorite verses. I try to cast my cares onto the Lord, but the biggest challenge is picking them back up again! Have a great day.

  8. One of my favorite verses too! I've gotten slack about replying to comments. I love to reply but can't seem to keep up with posting, reading other's posts and commenting, and replying. Must be my age. I can't seem to keep up with my housework and gardening anymore either. :)
