A temperature of 60 degrees this morning when I left on my walk. Sun and clouds around and some of the clouds were so low I walked through them. A slight breeze to keep things cool and pleasant.Walked around the ball park loop and the two cemeteries and then a loop around town. Went a ways up Sale Barn Road and then down toward Happy Trails.
A spider web over by one of the cemeteries.
Some pretty wild flowers along the guard rail on my way back to town.
Kathy was walking around town again as well as the man with the two little dogs who always bark at me. Another woman was running who I see every once in a while but I've never met her. Every time I see her running, before she reaches me she always turns around and goes the other way.Walked 6.2 miles.

Cooked up the rhubarb this morning. I cut up the rhubarb and cooked it on the stove with sugar, butter and some cornstarch until it boils and thickens. Then I usually make a topping to put over it and then bake it. Instead of making the topping, I'm going to just pour some over some vanilla ice cream for my snack tonight. If I think about it, I'll take a picture and post it tomorrow.Bowling day today and since we didn't make it last week, it was nice to get back again. Only 4 of us there today. I had two good scores and one not so good but had a lot of fun anyway.
On the way home we stopped at Lowe's and got some insulation and plan to start putting it in the cabin at HT tomorrow.
We live about 10 miles from Deep Creek Lake and drive by it VERY often. Today we stopped to just enjoy the scenery and I took a picture.
That's been my Tuesday.
A happy day to you.

Jedidja - Thanks for sending me the link for the rhubarb recipe. I've bookmarked it and will try it. I am familiar with the rusk that goes in it. My grandmother was from Holland and we used to eat Holland rusk with butter and sugar on it for breakfast. Not sure if I'll be able to find it around here now, but I'll look.
Pancakes are a breakfast food here but at times I eat them for supper too.

Your rhubarb sounds very good. I can imagine how yummy it will taste with ice cream. The cob web at the cemetery seemed to belong there. Have a great evening.
Your walks always have the most beautiful scenes to look at. That spiderweb shot was awesome. Yum, I love Rhubarb and over ice cream sounds just fine to me.
