A delightful morning for walking today. 58 degrees, sunny with a nice cool breeze out there.
Decided to walk the Farm Loop.
Farmer Bill was out by his house talking to a couple of men all with their heads under the hood of a truck.
A mower was out mowing the edge of the road. He stopped until I was passed, then I turned around and took his picture which is the top picture today.
The cows were out in the same pasture as those pigs from the other day. I guess cows and pigs get along.
Once back to town I took a loop around there too to make up the rest of my walk.
Walked 6.3 miles.
Found a dime.

Got a couple of loads of laundry hung up on the line and when I was out there I noticed a new visitor in the back yard. He was in the little part of the yard that I'm turning into a meadow by the bird feeders. I zoomed in on this guy cause I didn't want to get sprayed. He just ambled off to the neighbors back yard after a little while. We went up to Happy Trails mid morning. The weather stayed on the cool side, with temperatures in the low 70's and mostly cloudy, but the sun did come out every so often.
Ken got a good deal done on cleaning out the tractor barn. While he did that, I took the ATV down a couple of paths.
I spent some time sitting in a chair reading and did a little knitting too.
We packed a lunch and had lunch up there.
Ken got his tractor running and dug out some more rocks, flat ones for the patio back at the house and we piled up some more rocks by the rock crusher for another day.
Back home I took a picture of the stone patio progress.
Time to go make some supper. Then its off to church and we will be staying an hour or so afterward to get started on getting those scriptures put together.
That's it for today.
A happy day to you.

I want to live where you live! :) it is just beautiful there. It amazes me that you find a bit of money out walking every day. I found a penny in Walmart parking lot the other day and thought about you.
Lovely pictures. The little stinker may not be such a welcome guest.
I assume most farm animals are pretty mellow
It's lovely to share part of your walking route! Best to let that skunk mosey on!
The patio is coming along so well!
Hello, I enjoyed the photos from your walk. Wow, cool shot of the skunk. Your patio area is looking great. I just love that quote. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day and the weekend ahead!
Yikes about the skunk. Glad you didn't have to get too close to get a shot of it! We have been enjoying lovely walking weather in the morning too. I found a quarter the other day and like Henny Penny I thought of you.
I'm sure glad that you and your skunk visitor didn't have any "communication." Your patio with the picnic table and the rock looks just lovely. Have a great day.
Lovely patio made of smooth rocks. You come up with such neat ideas. I'm leaving you an e-mail.
We picked blackberries at our daughter's house this morning and smelled a skunk....scared one of our grandsons. You live in such a beautiful area...and Happy Trails seems so nice.
Hi sweet Karen! I love your patio! It's so earthy looking.
Your patio is looking gorgeous! You'll love having that when it's done. It's a shame that skunks are so uncharitable, because they have such pretty fur.
That's a great quote! Your little black-and-white visitor is cute! Not something we see, but we have smelled them on our travels a few times. Your patio is coming right along! Very pretty.
