for all your prayers and kind words.
Blogging friends are special people. : )
I've missed blogging and it is nice to be back.
Will be around to visit you and catch up as soon as I can.

The next few days the main picture of the day will be pictures that I took while walking in NY.
I walked under this osprey nest a few times.
She's coming for a landing.

This morning it was 52 degrees with a mix of sun and clouds and a beautiful day for walking. Nice to get back to walking the Farm Loop. Rarely do I see other people along there walking or running but today there was a runner.
Nice to see a few of the diary cows in the front pasture. This is a young one and her ear tag tells me her name is Ruth.
Once I got back to town I took a loop around town and a quick loop around the ball park. This brook that runs along the back of the park.
Then I headed for home.
Walked 6.3 miles.

Ken and I both have new cell phones. We no longer have tracfones but have finally joined the rest of you and now have smart phones!! I'm loving mine so far! : ) Took this a picture with my phone up along the farm loop.
Ken was already gone when I got home from walking. He went early to set up things for Fingerprints today. I stayed home for a couple of hours getting a few things done around the house that I needed to do. Then late morning I headed out to church for Fingerprints too. Throughout the day there were 14 people there working. Pastor went out and picked us up some pizza for lunch.
Having a nice quiet evening at home. Snack this evening will be Rhubarb cobbler. : ) That's even better than ice cream!!
A happy day to you.

Those new phones take some good pictures. Hope that rhubarb cobbler was a good as the crisp I just finished.
Know God, know peace, I like that. Guess what, I have a tracfone and am happy with it. We also have a landline phone. Yes we are a bit old school. Though we do have 2 new computers and a kindle, so we are not in the dark ages. LOL
You and the new phone take pretty pictures. Loved seeing the cows and the area round-abouts your town. You live in such a pretty area. I took the link to see what fingerprints was about and admire your dedication to the Lord's work.
Hello, love the photo of the Osprey. Well done! It is good to be back walking on your turf. The dairy cow is cute and I like the flowers. Your new phone takes great photos. Happy Friday, enjoy your Memorial Day weekend!
Good to have you post again & see those amazing photos of the osprey.
I love the camera on my smartphone too & use it when out for walks.
That is a great quote & one I am going to write down & share!
Thank you for sharing!
Hi Happyone, So glad to have you back home and blogging again. Sad to hear about your dad. In our extended family we have a similar situation and I do know how draining it can be taking care of someone who is on the edge. I'll keep you, Ken, and your dad on my prayer list. You have some very nice photos in your new posts. I especially like the reflections in Tuesday's post. Neat pics of the osprey nest in this post! I always appreciate your kind comments on my blog. Hope you have a fine weekend.
So glad to see you back! Lovely photos. I have a smart phone and do like it although I sure don't use it to its capability.
Such beautiful pictures! We still have those flip phones; really do need to take the plunge for at least one smart phone.:-) Continue to have you and your family in my prayers. - xo Nellie
I'm saddened to hear about your Dad's condition, but can understand why he is looking forward to his new heavenly home. I'm glad your mother seems to be adjusting to her new home -- I'm sure this is a stressful time for the entire family. We will continue all of you in our prayers.
Hello sweet Karen! Welcome back!
Rhubarb cobbler! I agree. There is nothing like hot rhubarb!
The osprey is lovely!
Like your photo selection again, especially the brook ... the saying 'babbling brook' always comes to mind!
All the best Jan
Love the osprey photo. You have a lot of people praying for you and your family.
There's plenty of cows at a nearby house where I live now.
