Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself;
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today.
I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet.
I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it.
~Groucho Marx

This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

This morning the bunny stayed around so I could take his picture.
There he sits in my garden.

No rain this morning! : )  I got to take my walk in the sunshine and it was 42 degrees.

Nice walking the Farm Loop.  Not one car passed by me on the road along the farms.  It was like the road was a wide walking path.
The dairy cows were out today but not in the field by the road.  They were way on the other side of the barn and too far away to take a picture.  It is a much nicer field where they are now and I'm sure they like it much better.

This pond is by the Dairy Farm.  I zoomed in and got a picture of one of the geese families.  They hopped in the water as I walked by even though I was pretty far away.
Here are the two families.
Faith and Grace at Farmer Bill's farm.
Once I got back to the main road, I walked to town and made a loop around town and then home.
Walked 6 miles.

Ken and I went down to Cumberland to a train show.  It was pretty small as far as train shows go but it was nice to walk up and down all the aisles to see what was there.  Ken found a few goodies to buy for his layout.
Back home in the afternoon I mowed the lawn again.  Had to do a bit of raking again too but not quite as much as last time.  Still thinking what part of the yard I can turn into a meadow. : )

And now it's time for supper.
A happy day to you.

they ask no questions,
they pass no criticisms."

  1. That bunny is so cute.
The geese family - all in a row - is so cute.
Nice photo of Faith and Grace.

Good to know Ken got a couple more things for his lay out.

    Hope supper was good!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend

    All the best Jan

  2. I believe the bunny was posing for your picture!!! ;-) Looks like you had a great walk today and got some great pics. Happy Mother's Day to you.

  3. That is a lovely photo of the goose family. Nice to read about your day.

  4. Hello, love the cute bunny. The goose family is a sweet shot too. I remember taking my son when he was young to the train shows. He loved trains. Great quote! Happy Sunday, enjoy your new week ahead!

  5. Adorable bunny! I have a fat one who occasionally visits but never long enough to get a photo of him! Have a blessed Mother's Day.

  6. The bunnies have arrived in our neck of the woods, too!
I know what you mean when you say that cruises involve too much food. Argh. I would not like that part. When we are away and have to eat at restaurants for every meal, I begin to crave our staples like peanut butter and my own coffee.
    Happy Mother's Day, friend!

  7. Weeding, I found a rabbit baby hidden among the tall weeds. I covered it up, I don't know if it is still there. Hope the mom moved somewhere safer.

  8. I love the rabbit! You have had a good walk! I am so glad you shared the geese family. It is so cute! And ...what part of the yard I can turn into a meadow????

  9. Hi Happyone, Sure enjoyed this post. Wish I could have gone along for the train show, of course! :-) Maybe you will show us an updated photo of Ken's train layout one of these days. Neat photo of the rabbit! Geese family ... so cool. Thanks for sharing and for your kind words on my blog ... especially about National Nurses Week. Wishing you a happy week ahead.
