Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Dentist

✿     ✿     ✿     ✿

A dry morning walk today but cloudy and I did see a few peeks of the sun too.  It was 56 degrees.

Had a nice walk all over town and down toward HT and a ways up Barn Sale Rd too.  The cows haven't been out there for a while.  I'm hoping they have just been moved to another field and have not been turned in hamburgers yet.  I think that happens in the fall though not the spring.

I saw our friend Dave this morning driving his tanker truck through town and he gave me a little beep as he drove past.
Walker Mike and Walker Kathy were out there this morning and I saw one other woman walking too.

Walked 6.3 miles.

The dentist office that we go to is just a block down the road so we can just walk there.  Left with the chocolate chippers in hand and was there a little before 11:00. They were running a little early so didn't have to wait at all.  I am VERY HAPPY to say that we both had excellent reports.  : )  I've said it before using the water pic daily really makes a difference!!

We were late for bowling but the others were still eating and hadn't started bowling yet so that worked out well too.  Bowled our usual 3 games.  There were 7 of us there today.  I usually list my scores but I'm sure you're all getting tired of hearing them so I'll just let you know when I get a new personal high score.  It may be quite a while because my high score is 191 and I don't think I'll be doing that again any time soon. : )

I'm looking forward to reading, making a few weave-it squares and having some chocolate chip mint ice cream later this evening.

Hope your day has been a happy one.

I've posted this quote before, after I've been to the dentist.
It's fits my feeling perfectly. : )

"No, my friend, I am not drunk.
It is that I have been to the dentist
and I need not go again for six months.
It is a beautiful thought."

I saw dentist!
I saw a most beautiful photograph ...

Then I later read you needed no dental treatment, which is always good.

Enjoy the rest of your week.

All the best Jan

Both the pictures posted today are beautiful. Glad to hear that the dentist report was good. That is a fortunate dentist to have one of his clients bring him cookies each time.

I went bowling the other day. I only did a high of like 118 I think.

Good news about your good dental report! Not my favorite place to be although my dentist is very compassionate and gentle. Have a great day.

That about says it all. =D Your dentist probably has a happy verse after you've been to visit, too, since you bring chocolate chippers, which, by the way, I am baking this afternoon!
