A couple more pictures from my walk yesterday.

The snow from yesterday was all gone this morning and the sun was shining. No wind and 30 degrees when I started out and up to 40 by the time I got home wearing one less sweatshirt and no hat.I walked over to say good morning to the cows and down toward HT and then back to town and around the cemeteries.
Saw a few farm tractors going through town. Guess the farmers are looking forward to getting their fields ready soon.
A couple of rabbits darted out of the bushes in front of me and ran across the street to the cemetery.
My heel felt like it was starting to get a blister so I stopped and sat down at the bench by the post office to take a look. Sure enough a blister was just starting on the side of my heel. There was a hole in my sock and it just rubbed the wrong way. Thought about walking more but didn't want the blister to get worse so went back home with just a 5.5 mile walk. The blister was just starting so it should be fine for tomorrows walk.

Finished reading Still Life by Louise Penny. Great book, liked it a lot and look forward to reading the rest of the books in the series. I've already put it on the reserve list at the library and I'm next in line.Yesterday was winter and today it feels like spring. A sunny day in the 60's. Ken was out this morning with the car so I took the opportunity to sweep out the garage. So much dirt and gravel on the floor from the car. Also straightened and put away some other stuff in the garage.
When Ken got home he washed the car which was VERY dirty.
While he washed the car I walked around the yard seeing what work needed to be done in the gardens. I guess I could have got started on some work but it was nice just to walk around.
It was even warm enough for us to sit on the porch a while. I know it will get cold again but this taste of spring was sure nice.
A happy day to you.

Lovely snow pictures. I like Louise Penny's books too.
Pretty photos! I've not read any Louise Penny's books. Maybe I should look for one. Have a great evening.
The first picture today is absolutely stunning.WOW!
Good idea to simply survey the garden and work on it another day.
Did you know that there are amazing blister Band-Aids made by (wait for it) Band-Aid? Bill just discovered them and is so grateful.
I hope your blister is gone by morning, K!
It must have felt like summertime to you after all that snow. Hope your blister goes away...those things hurt! "Just" a 5.5 mile walk!! I've never walked 5 miles! :)
Finally heading to above freezing temperatures here; soon be able to wash all the accumulated mud off the car.
Won't be long until we found our cars filled with pollen
Hello, your snowy views are pretty. Lovely images. We had a nice warm sunny day yesterday. A great day to be outdoors. Happy Tuesday, enjoy your day!
Your early spring moments sound delightful. I think it is such a good feeling to have a clean car and tidy garage. I swept the garage last weekend and was amazed at how a simple thing like that makes it so much nicer to come and go. Next up is a major garage cleaning. That won't be fun, but it will be wonderful when it is finished.
Hope your blister goes away soon.
Great photos Karen. Glad your snow melted so quickly. We are going to be warm here for the next while too but I am sure we will get one last winter storm!
I'm so glad you like the Louise Penny book!! Love your snow pics!
