Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

My new bowling record

✿     ✿     ✿     ✿
30 degrees this sunny morning and no wind.  : )  What a difference from yesterday!!  Enjoyed walking around the Farm Loop, my favorite route.
Lots of geese flying around here this morning and going off in all directions.  I also saw 4 Killdeer.  Their call is very distinctive and I heard them first before I saw them.  They were too quick for me to get a picture.

Coming back into town I made a quick loop through the industrial park and then walked up the hill behind my house before going back home.

Walked 6 miles.
Added up the coins I found in February.  Not too bad considering I walked inside some days and a lot of days I walked in the snow.
1 dime, 2 nickles and 8 pennies for a grand total of 28 cents.

These Tuesdays sure seem to roll around fast and once again it was bowling day.  Well, it was quite a good bowling day for me.  I topped my last high score with a 191 today!!  My other two games were 144 and 138.

I'm home on my own this evening.  Our pastor has been in New Zealand for a revival the last two weeks and comes home today.  Ken is on the way to Dulles Airport in Va to pick him up which is about 3 hours away.  Looks like I'll be getting my own ice cream later.

I started listening to an audio book, Lethal by Sandra Brown.  I've finished the first disc of which there are 11 while knitting.

That's it for today.
Hope you had a good one and you smiled often.

The sunshine and the call of spring birds must make the walk so enjoyable.

I have never seen a killdeer before, but have read about their antics.
Wow, you are on a "roll" with your bowling.
How nice of Ken to make the drive to the airport to pick up your pastor.

Your first photo looks like decoration for wonderful peaceful life :) All of your photos are full of life. I can even smell the fresh air with the trees flavor.

Loving those rolled bales of hay. Congrats on that bowling game. Lately I've been having horrible scores on my Tues. league. Hope it improves soon.
