He Lives

I serve a risen Savior,

He's in the world today;

I know that He is living,

whatever men may say;

I see His hand of mercy,

I hear His voice cheer,

And just the time I need Him

He's always near.

In all the world around me

I see His loving care,

And tho' my heart grows weary

I know that He is leading,

I liked the part in the Bible where one of the thieves that is crucified on the cross next to Jesus repents and gets saved at the last minute. : )
He sure cuts it close doesn't he? 

Luke 23: 39 - 43

And one of the malefactors which where hanged railed on him, saying, 

if thou be Christ, save thyself and us.

But the other answering rebuked him saying, 

Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

And we indeed justly;

for we receive the due reward of our deeds:

but this man hath done nothing amiss.

And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

And Jesus, said unto him, Verily I say unto thee,  to day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
